The pink ATG GLIDER???????

Am I the only person on this planet who doesn't love this??? It jams and sticks over and over again. I have wasted so much tape that I am ready to toss it in the trash! Do you think I just may have a lemon?

If you have the pink ATG and not the pink glider I read somewhere that Scotch had some problems with the first batch that shipped. I just received mine (2nd shipment) and haven't had any problems. You may try contacting them for a possible replacement.

I don't know anything about the pink glider, but I have a number of friends who have them and love them.

I don't have a problem at all with mine! I think its awesome!

I'm with you - I hate it. Probably going to get rid of it. What a waste of a Michaels coupon!

i love my atg it took me a little trial & error to get the hang of it but now that i have the hang of it i love it!!

I think you might have a lemon. I really love mine.

You might have it loaded wrong. Check Framingsupplies video on how to load. A friend loaded her's wrong the first time and she had the problems you are describing.

For First-time Users:

Be sure as you're using the ATG gun that you hold the trigger in and then remember to RELEASE it when your adhesive is down. I've had the red ATG gun for a long time, but it took me a while to get the hang of it. A fellow scrapper pointed out what I was doing wrong.

Press the trigger in as you run the adhesive across your paper and then release the trigger when you want to stop. If you don't release the trigger, the adhesive will either ball up on your paper/photo, or it will jam up inside the gun. It took some practice to get the hang of it!

My first red ATG gun was part of a "bad" batch. They had the incorrect gear installed. The manufacturer replaced my gun free of charge and also gave me three rolls of tape for my inconvenience.

I love my ATG gun and couldn't scrap without it!

I agree with Karen,,,,however, if it's JAMMING, that sounds like a bad gun! Contact Scotch!

If this is brand new, and you bought it with tape, it should be the scotch gold, however, I am going to point out that the ONLY time I've had jamming issues with MY gun is when I used the CHEAPO tape,,,,,

NEVER AGAIN! (not to mention the cheapo tape doesn't hold worth a darn either!)
