Im curious how many want cricut expression?
what is most you would pay for one or should say

Who wouldn't! But being retired I have to face the fact that I can't afford one. I have to settle for my baby bug.

I have an Expression...love it! I think I paid somewhere around $275 for mine and it came with 2 cartridges. I've had it 2-3 years now. I think it was worth the price I paid for it, although you might be able to get one cheaper now.

I have the expression. I paid $270.00 for it. It came with 3 carts, extra mats and extra blades. I see a lot of good deals on ebay.

I just got mine for my bday and we ordered it on eBay through proudparents2005 (I think that's their name) and It came brand new In box with 2 carts free shipping and it was $197.00. Some people got one with bids around $165. I literally bid on at least 10 before I was a winner. I recommend bidding on middle of the weekday items they tend to win for lower bids.

I buy a lot of carts through proudparents and memorymiser. Both are awesome sellers.

I saw one this summer at WM on clearance for 187.00...I do not want one so I passed. But if I ever changed my mind I would not want to spend more than that...since I know it is possible to get one that low (that is how my mind works anyway).

I have the Expression, DH bought it for me so I am not sure how much he paid.. but I am going to also be purchasing the Create (something to have to take to crops etc)

I had the Cricut Expression for less than a week before I returned it. The thought of all the additional money I'd have to shell out for cartridges after buying an almost $300 machine was more than I could take. I'm aware that there are people out there who are finding cartridges for $20 but I've never seen one. And then they came out with Design Studio, and SCAL, and Make the Cut, and I wondered why, for $300, you couldn't at least get DS in the box.
I love my Pazzles Inspiration. I don't have to buy additional software, or cartridges, or a special blade to cut chipboard. That said, I almost never cut anything large enough to justify owning a 12x12 die-cutting machine. If I knew then what subsequent experience has taught me, I would have waited for the Slice.
I think it all depends on your papercrafting style. If you find yourself constantly needing larger sized cuts, then I say go for it. For my part, all I really wanted was to stop buying alphabet stickers.

I've never wanted any of the Cricuts until I saw the Imagine on HSN. I would buy the Slice if it would allow you to use your own files which was the intention when it was "invented" and the MM changed that.

I still have a baby bug... but I REALLY want an Expression! One of these days I'll break down and buy one. I keep telling hubby how much an Expression would help me. I wasted so much paper this week cutting out numbers and squares for my classroom calendar. (I could only cut 3 - 3in size per 12x6 mat. With a 12x12 though...

You can find carts under $20 - Creativexpress had some on sale for $15 a couple of weeks ago. I picked up Mini Monograms and Hello Kitty Font. I've also gotten some on Ebay for $13 and $17! You can also check sites like Custom Crops and Ohmycrafts. I've never ordered from Custom Crops before, but I've seen some really good prices.

I do I do!!!!! I am still kicken er with my baby bug but I wul love to upgrade....for the longest time I didnt think I needed or wanted one but I think after many years I am convinced I do.

I love the expression and the larger mat. I am all about saving time, so when I am doing cuts with the shadow feature I put both papers on the mat. I do the first one, inch the arm over to the other paper, push shadow, repeat and its all done at once!

I have had mine for three days. My DH paid $249.00 (on sale) and it came with 2 carts. I have wanted one for years and I can already tell I'm going to use it alot!

My mom and DH offered to go in on an expression for me for chirstmas this year but the only thing I want a cricut for is title work, and I probably wont ever really need the expression even though I'd love one. But I'd be just as happy with a create.

I do! Last year on pink tuesday they were on sale for about $130 with no cartidge. Maybe this year is my year!

I love my Expression even though I don't use it as often as I should. I got it at ACM 2 yrs ago on Black Friday ... I paid $250 for it with 5 carts and Design studio and I think one other "extra" that I can't remember. It was a great deal and I've never regretted the purchase.

My husband bought my Expression for Christmas 2 years ago and I love it. Lately I haven't used it as much as I should but I have been busy. We (the kids, husband, and friends in our church) use it for everything: yard sale signs, cards, los, invitations, vinyl phrases for home decorating, etc. I would love to have the Imagine, but not interested in spending more money right now.

I love the Expression! I do make large cuts often. However, even when I don't make larger cuts, I can put all of the card stock on the mat and cut away. I save so much time by doing this...love it, love it...LOVE IT! The Imagine is money well spent IMHO...

I love the fact that with the Expression you can make larger cuts (which I do sometimes...background paper is great!), but that you can make lots of smaller cuts without changing the mat. One example is the Paper Dolls cartridges. I put different colors of paper in different sections of the mat and I can cut out the doll and all clothes/accessories without having to reload the mat! It is great!
