It depends on what your style is. many kits don't work for me because a)too much kid stuff or b)too feminine/flowery/frufru, which is not me.
that's why scraps of darkness works for me. not that there aren't any flowers, but the colors are darker, such as jewel tones, or red, versus pastel, and there's more metal and nongirly embellies.
Another vote for Studio Calico! It really depends on your style. I watched a couple different kits for a few months before I made my decision. I felt pretty confident that I was going to like everything they put together.
I'd suggest taking a look at kits past & present at each site, as well as gallery uploads to find what would fit your style.
Myself, I've been a Swirlydoos member for over two years and can honestly say that I've loved every kit; most are lush and romantic, but Krissy throws a couple of curveballs every year to take us outside our comfort spots.
Speaking of Krissy, the customer service can't be beat!!!!
You might want to sign up as a forum member (just Google Swirlydoos) and see what we're all up to!!!!!
I started a thread exactly like this the other day but then deleted it. I wasn't sure if it was against sb.com policy. I guess not though??? Anyway....I'm wondering the same thing.
I have a studio calico subscription. Its nice because their kits are versatile and also have lots of new stuff. So I definitely shop MUCH LESS. And you get a stamp.
I subscribe to MyCreativeScrapbook. I've belonged for just over a year now and love each and every kit..they're packed with papers, embellies, bling, ribbon, and more!
