Yesterday in church I got talking to the team priest's wife. I gave her some photos of her husband's father, who had been the Canon at the church where I grew up on the other side of the country. Yup, major coincidence, isn't it? 
In talking, it turned out that she scrap-books too! My face lit up. But then she said that she doesn't do {imagine slightly dismissive tone here} that modern kind, with all the decoration all over the pages. Oh.
I'm not exactly sure what she does. I said, oh do you mean sticking the photos straight onto the pages with just labels? But she didn't really agree or disagree.
I've only been scrapping for 5 years. I know some of you have been doing it for a long time. Has anyone any idea of what style she may have meant?

- how radical of her! I can completely see how "our world" can be intimidating though.
