Rhinestone Adhesive

Can anyone give some advice on the best adhesive for rhinestones, pearls, metal embellishments, etc. I am currently using Elmers Craft Bond Clear Glue Pen but I find that after a while the glue wears off and they start falling off my cards and pages. Are Glue Dots better to use or is there a liquid glue that anyone can recommend? Thanks for any help!

I always use glue dots and have never had a problem with them falling off. I like that they come in a variety of sizes too so there's no waste.

I use Crystal Effects from Stampin' Up to adhere anything blingy. Tombow works well.
But I prefer to get rhinestones and pearls that already have adhesive on them.

Thanks for the tip. They are probably easier with no drying time too. I going to have to invest in the different sizes. Do you have a preference of Glue Dots over Zots?

I've used both. I really don't have a preference, just whichever one I can get my hands on! Haha! Glad I could help.

I generally use Glossy Accents, or Scotch Quick Dry.

Just a thought I have gotten the adhesive bling and sometimes while taking off a couple pearls the adhesive will come off. I would still invest in one of the adhesives previous listed.......although I am partial to super small glue dots. If its a project that might get handled a lot I would do glossy accents.

Another vote for glossy accents!

Glossy accents is a strong glue that works well on things like metal or bling that is heavier.....the only problem with Glossy Accents is that the top clogs up and you almost always have to pierce with a pin before every use, which can be a pain.....
I really like Tombow liquid glue as it is the only one I've come across that does not clog and it has 2 options for applicators built right in to the bottle. I've been using it for about 2 yrs. now. I've never used it on metal, though.
I usually use glue dots on bling, pearls etc. if they don't already have a glue back but have used my Tombow.
If something is flat, I've had success using my Xyron as well. That stuff is sticky!
