I am not in Indiana, but I have a friend who recently moved there. To Anderson. She enjoys scrapping. Either of you near there? I will have to get her on to this board so she can meet some people. She is busy getting her business up and going right now though.
And, I love Chicago. Go there once a year for a conference!

Linda, I'm not there now, but I used to live in Indiana - I spent 5 years in Rochester - in north central IN. In fact, my house in Rochester is still on the market...want to buy a house?

Hi guys I am from the Chicagoland area...
Blue Island, I grew up there and my parents still live there, but I live in Okinawa (stationed with the USAF)I am visiting there soon and can't wait to go shopping!!
I also have some family in Laporte and Boonesville, IN

It's nice to know there are some Hoosiers out there I am from Merrillville - 2 hours north of Indy. I am going to Indy this weekend to do an overnight crop. Can't wait to bust my brain for ideas
I believe that Anderson is just a hop, skip and jump from Indy. ( Okay - I have NEVER used that phrase and I hope never to use it again!!)
I'm not sure where Rochester is at. And no, I don't need to buy a house, but thanks anyway

For the record, I was born in Chicago Heights 45 years ago! My family left when I was just a few months old. Then in '65 we lived in Glenview for a few months. I spent most of my life in Michigan (3 different times!) and I still have family in Milwaukee, WI but I live in Sacramento, CA now.
Although I would never live in the Midwest again - and only because of the snow - my heart will always be there and it will always be "home".
