I love my stacks. I must admit I haven't used some of them yet. I use the pp for mats on my 12x12 cs. A scrapper can't have too many stacks LOL !!

I buy them every now and then. They are always on sale here.. at least 48 weeks out of the year! and it's always the weeks you REALLY want them that theyre not on sale, lol.

I like the "Sweet" One and the Citrus. I look at the Citrus every time I go to Joann's. The only problem I find with stacks is that even though there are a lot of papers in it i would use, there's a lot that i would never use. So, like everything in scrapping, it just depends on your taste!!

I mainly scrap 11x8.5 sized pages. I love the DCWV Alphabet stack and bought several in 8x8 size when Big Lots had them for $3 each. I "saved" them to make alphabet albums but never got around to those albums.

So I "made" myself use them.

EVEN IF I don't use every sheet,,,I might use the others for matting, or for punch flowers, or for cutting out letters,,,,,or just give it to the gc,,,,

I'm on my SECOND stack of once upon a time!!!!!

My dd and I have about ten of them we are currently using. We love em!

I love the DCWV paper stacks. J's had them on sale a few weeks ago while they were remodeling..and I picked up a bunch. I don't use the patterned ones as much as I could..lately I've been using solid cardstock for my main canvas. But now that I am getting braver, hopefully I will be able to use more of what I have.

Okay - so I too buy the stacks and use them. However, over time, I am discovering an awful lot of left over paper. Additionally, I was reading the forum post, "Worst thing you wasted money on" or something like that and noted that most of the veterans didn't like stacks, especially noting the DCWV. Now I'm wondering if I'm missing out on something good. I didn't figure out what paper was preferred but I think they all liked the American Crafts Pp.

It's all a matter of taste. I don't care for any of the Basic Grey stuff that most people here seem so enthralled with. I like the bolder look of DCWV which many don't like and think they look "childish." While I think why buy papers that look old unless they're for heritage pages. See the argument?

Not every paper in every stack is gonna hit the mark for every person. Now that I'm really into making cards, I can see everything getting used now.

Since learning that the Cricut can easily cut the Glitter cardstock (the solid colored preglittered papers), I'm really getting more use from everything in my stacks. Now I just wish I could buy white preglittered paper. I'm running low on those but don't want to buy the stack just for the white.

I agree with Vivian loves BLING. I think it is just a matter of personal prefrence. Everyone likes different papers and colors and textures for every different project they are working on. At least that is how I am. For the one scrapbook that I have completed, I had a block of solid colors, that was working fine but I seemed to be bored with the basic colored background. Then at the store I saw the DCWV, and fell in love with the pattern books they had. I love the designs and testures of the blocks that I have picked up. But that is just ME. That doesn't mean that EVERYONE should use them. Ya know? To each their own. I like having a variety of blocks and just single papers available, that way I have which ever I want or need for whatever I am in the mood for.

I am new to scrapbooking, but I found that I like the stacks. Since I really don't know exactly what I want to do until I go through my pictures and wait for something to jump out at me, I like the variety of the stacks to give me that pattern that is perfect.
I have not yet found that I would have more paper than needed; I'm sure I'll find a use for it somewhere - however, I bought another type of stack from a local craft store and it was two sided - I don't like that some are two sided - if I like both patterns, there's only two sheets of each
Anyway, my vote is yes for stacks - they make my life easier. Working 40+ hours, leader to two GS troops, 3 daughters, and working on an MBA - simplicity is best

DCWV has some new paper for the fall. I am off to check it out.

My J's coupon book this upcoming week, shows some of it.

I just saw all the new stacks! Pretty but DCWV is moving in another direction from what they were doing. More into what other lines are already doing and I'm not a big fan of.

I'm also not crazy about the double sided papers.

SB.c doesn't carry any of the latest ones. Heck, DCWV's website doesn't even show these new stacks.

Joann's website has them though...

I didn't buy any of these because I literally have no more room for papers and need to get pages done first.

I like both using the stacks and hand picking papers. I like the stacks because they provide a starting point for me (i.e. give me an idea of the look I'm going for).

I just bought two of the stacks, a butterfly one and I believe the dressy stack. They are so pretty, but I am not so sure I like all the glitter and foil, I guess that is just me though.

I just brought the "Sweet"DCWV stack on sale at Joann's yesterday. To me the price seems great and you get 48 pages for only 9.99. I would not pay the regular price for them if I did not have a coupon.I plan to get the Butterfly ones here next and who knows what else.

I have a few, bought them all at half price though. I have Animal Crackers (my least favorite), Citrus, Green stack (love), Sweet (love), & butterflies & blossoms.

I have the mat stack to match in Green & citrus.

Honestly, I've never used them. I went through them today, pulled out 3-4 that coordinate and put together 'kits'. I think I love them! Can't believe I didn't do this earlier.

I love all of them! I'm always afraid to use all the pretty paper though! I have almost every one of them on my "Want" list. There is also a ton of the Paper Studio ones at HL I want!

I saw some of the new paper, I was not impress with them.

Do the new papers look more faded/oldish to you MsJackie? More like other brands, less like DCWV's usual bright colors?

Football mom, I'm so sorry I bought the Animal Crackers stack. I bought it online without looking at all the pages and all I can say is blech. I've used one sheet from it and I don't know what else to do with it. On the other hand, I really like the Citrus stack and I've just started using the Green and the Grade School. I've completely maxed out my paper storage so I'm holding off on big stacks for now, but I do like the look of Garden Party, Doodling Around, and Main Street.

I always buy in stacks. Especially when they are on sale. I don not buy themed stacks. I only buy paper that can be used for everything. I am a bargain scrapper so I wait until they are half off and then buy a couple. I don't really like to buy individual paper if I can help it because I dislike spending almost a dollar a sheet. Most of the time I don't find I like the individual paper anyway and it doesn't work for me. So I love the stacks.

I wished I could buy the stacks, but JoAnn is not shipping to Europe, so the only thing I can do is look at them and cry.....;-)

I LOVE those stacks! I also love the once upon a time because me & my dh love to go to Scarbourogh Faire every year thats held here in nearby Waxahaxie, Tx & that stack is perfect for doing pages on this great Ren. Fest. I also love the pet stack as i have 4 cats & one dog..LOL its also nice having diff. kinds of paper on hand just incase i need it & @ $10 each you really can't beat that!

Jenn, I buy the stacks everytime a new one comes out. Last year the fall stack rocked. It was the best stack they ever made and the spring was totally awesome and the summer one also. I just bought the Indian Summer and nana's kitchen and Sweet. I love them, really, it is a lot of paper for $9.99. I only buy them when they are on sale!

I love them and have a seriously hard time resisting a new one on sale! I will say I will no longer buy ones that are over flowing with glitter pages because I can't seem to get anything to stick to them reliably!

Well I haven't bought any stacks in sometime. I believe the last ones were about a year ago. I am really trying to use the paper I have. And believe me I have some.....

I don't usually pick these up, although I've always liked the Photo Stacks - just recently used some paper from an older Photo Stack. On the right layout they're pretty great! But I don't care for the glittery stuff, and the designs generally don't mesh with my style.

The travel stacks are nice but I don't travel enough to justify it; the pet stack is cute but my pet isn't mainstream enough for the industry to cater to; the kitchen stack is too glittery and I much prefer the kitchen stack by American Traditional Designs; and Photo Real Stack 3 is more scenery than objects and I really don't need more trees and flowers.

I was really into these stacks, but something happen. They just didn't grab me.

I still buy some of the DCWV stacks and recently I bought a K & Company stack.

I like to go to craft stores when they have stacks on sale for 40-50% off. I generally get the 12x12 stacks for one album in particular and then use one of each in the album. I can generally find other reasons to use the other pages in the stack, for cards or a page or two in a different album. I also like to swap paper at crops so it is nice to have extras on hand I might not necessarily like as much. But I always add hand picked paper into my albums as well so it breaks up the stack paper a bit.

You know swapping some of your paper that you don't really want is really good. I should talk to our LSS, who is having our next crop. I don't know if they would like it, as they want us to buy from them

I am hooked on PaperStacks, They are good deals and great paper for the money. I bought the New DCVW "AT HOME" and Absolutely LOVe it bc it has all the colors I usually use so I know I'll use a lot of the pages in there. If you get the stack on sale w/coupon it comes to $9.53/36 sheets = 26 cents per sheet and we all know glittered paper or any regular cardstock ranges from .50 to $1.99 so Yes, Its a good deal. The papers usually match each other too so they all go together really well. I also like knowing that I have a lot of paper to choose from and its easier to keep it organized while its in the stack!
