How to smooth edges from album

Hi all, I am making a recipe book for the first time, and have ran into a problem, some of my pages overhung my album, and I have trimmed them, but the album now looks a little ragged. I didn't cut the album itself but there is the messy edge problem. Could I use a washi tape to cover the binder around the edge of the album ? Any advice would be much appreciated at this point

Washi tape might be a great way to cover the edges. I might even consider adding a little liquid glue to underneath the decorative tape to help it hold long term.

I would recommend washy tape too!

using washy tape is a good idea for removing the edge from the album.
