Favorite adhesive?

I should have put this on the end of my last post, but didn't think of it in time.

What type of adhesive do you like the best?

Couldn't live without photo splits. Use them for everthing. I even cut them in half for smaller things like hand cut letters, and punchies.

Mono adhesive really works well too. You can find it in most office supply stores. Better than glue sticks or individual stickies works great!

My favorites are both types of Hermafix - I use the squares (no blue tabs!) for pictures and mats and the blue dots for diecuts and punchart type things. I also have a Sailor glue pen I use for very small pieces.

I have to admit I love my glue sticks. They are incredablly cheap and I feel like when I glue my pages that nothing is coming off. (I know that's in my head , but I can't help it )

I use the Hermafix tape runner and tabs.

I really like the ZIG 2 way Glue Pen for putting my pics on my mats. It comes in 3 sizes of tips. I have only used the medium chisel tip so far. I also like the photo splits for placing my my matted photos on the page in case I want to slip something under it after I put it on the page. I have a Xyron 850 and have tried the permanent adhesive. But I am just a beginner at scrapbooking and it seemed very permanent when I changed my mind and wanted to move something.

Susan--You shouldn't use the 2 way glue on your photos, because you won't may not be able to get them up in the future (If you want to) YOu should use photo splits or hermafix.

I use mono adhesive for everything but photos, and photo splits for photos.

Hermafix Vario Tabs. I worship at the feet of their creator..(if i knew who that was)

Seriously, i own about six different types of adhesive...hate all of them compared to Hermafix Vario Tabs (the tabs, not that other kind!)

I have to say that I always use double stick tape. I've tried glues and glue sticks but I am most comfortable with the tape.

i have found (after trying tons) that i like the creative memories tape runner for my photos and the zig 2 way glue for my diecuts and jounaling boxes. i like a tape runner for the easiness of getting in small places. its a good product.

I used to use my Xyron for EVERYTHING. That is so expensive, though. Now I just use a plain old glue stick.

I LOVE Hermafix, I use it the most,but for putting punches together in layouts I tend to use Zig two-Way glue. But I also like Xyron machines for putting together paper dolls and large die cut titles. But for heritage photos, I use photo corners. I guess my favorite depends on what I doing.

I have tried all of the adhesives out there and my number one choice is the Creative Memories tape runner. The only thing that is inconvenient is that they are not refillable. My second choice would be the Hermafix sticky dots. Is it just me or does it run out super fast? Nevertheless, it's a great product!

Hermafix definately! I LOVE the tabs for 'bigger' projects like paper, and the glider is the best for other items, plus its repositionable for 24 hours! (great for paper piecing)

I used to use splits and would have those stinkin' blue tabs everywhere! (my house, gardens, cat etc..) I love the tab dispenser.. no more blue papers! Plus, its cheaper for the refils than anywhere I've seen. Fiskars at WAL-MART is $2.97 for 500... Hermafix ones are usually $5.50 for 1000.

Scrap in a Snap consultants carry Hermafix as do many local scrapbook stores.
