Does anyone own a Coluzzle

I was thinking about buying one. What is your opion on it compared to sizzix? Is it hard to use?

you kinda got to get the hang of it.. i bought several templates for this, but have used the tag ones alot.. i still cut into the templates.. maybe on of these days.. i need to try more, cause i still am debating too on the caparrison of the sizzix and this.. I ended up getting the colluzzle first then the side kick and then the sizzix, cause i wanted to cut more than just paper.. but i know the Coluzzle is very portable and to get out and put up..easy easy easy.. that is what i cut all my tags with..

how do you like the side kick?

I like it, cause it is light weight, and easy to pick up move etc. doesnt take up much room. I have some dies flowers, love, wedding (got it off of shopathometv) they have a deal right now, its like i think $49 and free shipping.. plus you get an idea book.. oh and it comes with 3 sets of dies.. 4 in each set.. I also bought the wet paint alphabet for it.. it cuts really well.. but then i thought what if i want to cut foam, cork metal, you cant do that with a sidekick.. so i got a used sizzix on ebay.. but will keep my sidekick, cause of the lightness of it.. the sizzix has bigger dies and the sidekick has smaller ones, but they come with 4 dies in a pkg cheaper price than some of the 1 sizzix dies.. I know it is sooo hard to chose, you get something, then sometimes arent satisfied so you get another..haha

I love my Coluzzle! It has the nesting shapes and tags--so many sizes; alphabets for $15 (compared to $75-$150 for die sets), actual puzzles, which I love for using lots of pictures; and lots of other shapes, much cheaper than dies. I got a sidekick for little/intricate shapes; don't recommend the Coluzzle for letters smaller than 1". But for what it has, Coluzzle is by far the best for the money.

I have a Coluzzle and love it! Once I got it I wanted to kick myself for waiting so long. I also have the sidekick. Love that too but not a big selection on dies and alphas are just way too costly for me.

Thanks everyone for there imput, Im not sure which way I should go yet. Im either going Coluzzle or sidekick. My best friend has a sizzix & like some of you said. The reason she got it (the alphabet) is mightly costly!
Any other imput would be greatly appperciated!

love them ALL - each has its own specific purpose. i started with the Coluzzle and still use it quite a bit, but love the sizzix and sidekick and try to buy alphas when they are on sale.

I love Coluzzle and use it regularily to cut letters, tags and to make flowers. It is very easy to store and take to crops and is reasonably priced. I have just recently purchased the sizzix and the sidekick. I like the sidekick to do letters and small shapes and the sizzix to do larger dies. I think once you get used to Coluzzle you will like it. The Coluzzle and sidekick are easy to take to crops.

I love my Coluzzles! I have been using this system for years and although I don't often use any of my shapes anymore I do have 6 different alphas which are great. I have looked and looked at all of the different die cut systems and the prices are just too unbelievable! Alphas can run you $200 whereas the Coluzzle is $30 and although a little more work is involved the outcome is the same. I still just cannot justify spending that kind of money on a single alphabet I will use only some of the time.

I love my Coluzzle! Works great, and makes it super easy to cut the mats the right size. The alphas are great too, but it takes some getting used to cutting on the curves.

I really like my Coluzzle as well - but I use mainly the shapes - the alphabets are a little hard for me - I use my Sizzix (and sizzlits) for that. The shapes are REALLY great though! I love the tags and the frames and noticed they have a library pocket (it is new - can't get it until June!!!)

Out of the three, which could you NOT live without??? Just curious since you have them all.
