Colorbok Refill Pages

Hey guys, I had a question. I recently purchased a Colorbok Scrapbook Album, but I was told I could only use Colorbok refill pages. Is this true? The thing is that I bought refill pages at Target already because I thought that they would work, which I still think they will. Bottom line, has anyone heard of this: needing to use Colorbok refills for a Colorbok album, or can I use any brand of compatible refills?

Yes you need to use their refills--the holes are ina differnt spot than standard refills. You could always poke holes in the standard refills to make them fit.

Or if you use the Snapload books (or the converter for an a,lbum you already have) you could use any old page refills. I think I saw you had asked abotu snapload somehere else on the board....that woudl solve your proble, I like Colorbok books--they are cute! But the refill thing is a problem.

Yea, I can see that. But are you sure that the only difference is the place where the holes are? And that all i have to do is punch the wholes in the corresponding place?

There night be a 1/2" piece of plastic between the piece that has the holes in it and the part where your LO goes in so maybe it will stick out farther than the other sheetprotectors (like there will be a 1/2" thick strip witht he holes in it, another next to it with no holes, and then the main sheet protector part versus another sheet protector will have just the one strip with the holes and then the sheet protector part begins right away.) Do you understand? Kind of hard to explain adn I am too lazy to take apic right now !LOL

Okay I guess I am not the only one with the Colorbok refill issue... and the crazy thing is I can't find the refills anywhere...

Found the refills... they had them here in the superstore... I hope they work.

Hey! Well, I was able to poke holes in the right place and use standard refills in my Colorbok album. It worked out just fine. Oh, and there is a seller on ebay who has Colorbok refills, you might want to check it out.

I bought that album too. I'm so glad it's almost full so I don't have to deal with it anymore. I can't even use the plastic page spacers I usually use in between my pages! I don't think I'll buy this album again.

Looks like I willstay away from this one. I have looked at them but never bought one. I don't think I will.

Yea, if I would have known it was going to be do difficult then I wouldn't have bought it, but the album was soo adorable. Thank God I was able to figure it out and that I didn't have to buy Colorbok refills.

But now I'm wondering something else, can I scrap with any materials, or do the kits have to be Colorbok too? I went to the store and saw that there are several kits. Can I scrap normally? Or do I need any other Colorbok accessories?

You can scrap with anything you like as long as it is the same size (12x12 I imagine). SO no, you dont HAVE to use their kits.
