Creative Memories Power Layout guides

I don't get how you use these?? Can anyone explain? It looks like the are just 12x12 pieces of paper...

What you do is get all your papers and pictures together and put them between the pages. Then you can just take the box with you to a crop.

Here is what I do with mine.

I gather all my pics, not so bulky embellishments and my papers. I figure out the maximum number of prints I want/need to include on my LO, I might not use all of them, but it's easier to have more than what I need. I put something good on TV for background or good music. On a big clear space of floor, I place six of the guides, side by side. I top each guide with the patterned paper /cardstock I'm planning on using, the diecuts/stickers/etc that I'm going to use and the photos that belong to that particular LO. Once I get all six sheets filled, I stack them in whatever order I need them to be in (usually choronologically for my album) and repeat until I either run out of LOs to prep or run out of guides. I put my stack in the box and seal it up. When I go to a crop I bring my two tiny tool totes (one holds adhesives, pens and cutting tools, the other holds specialty items like my rub on alphas and things that are too large to be in the other tote, my album with the refill pages and the power LO box. The last crop I went to, using this system, I finished 10 LOs, and put together (but they still need a little somethin-somethin that I didn't have with me) another 15. I use it even when I'm cropping in my house because it keeps everything organized and together so I don't lose things I might need. I also keep a small notebook with any sketches I might be using in the box as well.

That's exactly what I do with it. It's great for getting me organized! I take my photos and lay them out on the dividiers to see where I want them, sometimes if I don't have time to do the layout I'll sketch it out and leave it in with that section. Pick out my papers & embellishments or ephemera and when I get to it again, I'm ready to glue down. Keeps it all together and I don't have to worry about what I was thinking when I had them out to begin with.

That is what I do with mine as well. They are great and I don't know what I did without them! I put all of my stuff together before going to a workshop, and before you know it, I have completed all of my pages while everyone else is still struggling to decide what to do with their photos.

They truly are great and a must have for every avid scrapbooker.

I do the same with mine. It has become a must have tool.
