Layout Gallery - I think I need help

I only have, I think, 14 layouts in the gallery and almost all my space is gone! My files are huge!! Much bigger than everyone else's. How do I get those files smaller?

You're gonna have to delete them all and repost, for starters. Mine were huge too. I have Adobe Photoshop 5.0 LE that came with my scanner. I select Image, then resize and have it be 400 pixels wide (it automatically adjusts the length) Then they don't take up so much memory but you can see the image still. HTH!

Thanks! Adobe Photoshop came with my scanner and I installed it, but have never used it. I do use Photo Suite to stitch my pages. Maybe Photo Suite would also resize them? I guess I'll have to redo them all and delete all the old ones.
I finally reached 1000 views, too
But I want to be able to post a lot more pages so that's the price I'll have to pay. Do I sound like a martyr?

Jen..I use Photo suite and there is an "adjust" on the menu bar and it works just fine...thanks to Sara letting me know what to do w/it! It is so hard to delete those and start over, isn't it??? I had to do that quite awhile ago...it works great and is so easy!

Thanks for your help. You were right - it's there. I just never bothered to look for it before! I just posted a layout and it's a little bit smaller, but not much. I still need to fidget with it to try to get some nice, small files.

Sara suggested changing the first # to 400 and then the 2nd # changes to coordinate w/1st...that makes file smaller but not so small as to lose details...HTH

Thanks! I think I've got it now. Just one problem. Deleting my old layouts and replacing them with smaller files. I can't figure out how to do that! When I click on edit, it tells me that I'm not allowed to do that, that I'm not the original poster, even when I'm logged in.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
