How do you label drawers of Sterlite/Iris carts?

Circle rimmed tags with the word of what's inside the drawer on the tag. Stuck on with glue dots.

label maker here also. i dont even know what kind it is, but one of the kind that "prints" it out. its very handy. especially since i label EVERYTHING.

I make my labels. I use pretty paper in the color I want and open Word and use my fave fonts and make a list of all the labels I want. I then print them out, put them through the Xyron and voila labels- you can cut them out or punch/Coluzzle shapes. easy and cheap! HTH Lisa

I used Avery return address labels. They've stuck just fine for over a year now, except for one which I pulled off and tried to straighten. It "restuck" put now keeps curling up at the ends.

Trying to get organized, I put Dymo labels on all my cart drawers. And they all popped off -- they won't stick to the plastic. I would like something nicer looking than masking tape, but I'm not sure what else to try. Anybody know what sticks? Sure love to hear how others do their labeling. Thanks!

I would try sanding a small area & attaching a label holder or bookplate to the front with super glue, then you can replace the labels whenever you need to. Plus, with all the cool colors on the market, you could probably find holders to match your color scheme (or just paint them).

I haven't tried this myself, but it's an idea

WOW! What a cute idea! I am constantly changing what I put in my drawers and I think I may have to try this!

I have used the other label maker as well and some stay and some fall

I use the Dymo Letra Tag label maker. A few years ago, I used the Dymo label maker (the really old one)to mark my drawers and those are still stuck! Try wiping the area where you're going to put the label with alcohol.

I have the Brothe P-Touch. Works great to label anything.

I use it too. The paper labels stick to anything and stay. I put one on a plastic cup and forgot about it, ran it through the dishwasher and the label is still there, not torn or anything.

I also used the address labels. With those you can choose a cute font!!

I use a permanent Sharpie - Un-Du will take it right off if you change your mind or make a mistake.

WOW -- Thanks everyone for all the GREAT ideas! I haven't been on the boards for a couples of days, and was AMAZED to come on tonight and see all the postings to my original question. So-o-o helpful! Now I wish I had bought the Letra Tag. Should have posted here for opinions on labelers before I bought my basic Dymo. Oh well! I really like the idea of making my own labels on the computer and running them through the Xyron. Maybe I could even use a Dymo label-type font! Thanks again everyone!

If I could just get my hands on one of these carts I would be thrilled! I have been looking for them everywhere Sterlite is sold and they NEVER have them.

I love the Steralite drawers! I used Dymo labels on mine and most of them stayed but one keeps popping off.

I think I'll switch to the print on pretty paper and Xyron method, I love that idea!!!
