My husband is in the process of grilling steak for dinner tonight! That and some good wine, it's a great V-day!!

me and my dh agreed that we weren't going to do anything today or get each other anything. well, he got me roses. and this time i was totally suprised! usually i find out about it somehow. what a sweetie!

We're ordering dinner out and then bringing it home. DH got me some roses with lillies and surprised me with the Everybody Loves Raymond DVD set the first 3 seasons. I was hoping for a more romantic gift but I'm surprised he got me anything at all!

DH is the greatest - he attempted a Make and take for a card, but settled on having the lady at the store do it for him (he isn't that creative, but the thought counts), but he assured me that I could make and take him any time Sorry we're newly weds... Anyway he got me a great gift card to Ben Franklin Crafts here!! Woo Hoo - now that is way better than chocolates or flowers!!!

My bf and I had a great Valentines Day. He got me a dozen of white roses, ghiradelli and dove chocolates (my fav) and some scrapping stuff. I was so excited. He went way overboard, but that's okay, I won't complain. I made him up a giftbasket of his fav candies, hickory farms stuff and a coupon book! We had dinner and watched Just Like Heaven (super cute chick flick). Off to bed for me!

PHEW! Finally done reading through the posts that I have missed! I am loving all the LOs, and I will go back and make comments tonight. I finally did get challenge #3 posted

the hubby got me a leather journal (ok, so I handed it to him in the store and told him that is what I wanted) and some silly little box thing with a little teddy bear and a sachet. Mainly he just got me a little "happy" and a card
I made him a card, and he got himself City of Heroes and City of Villians (this mmorpg - online role playing game).
I hate playing catchup when I finally get the computer back. We gotta get another one Not before I get my digi slr though! So, no time soon

I've been lurking without posting 'cause things have gotten busy here. I need to make the time to finish one of these great challenges people are posting for us flappers.... The ideas have been terrific, and the results are looking great.

Just wanted to check in in a (rare) free moment... I realized yesterday that I'm running pretty low on time when I can still consider myself a twenty-something - 30 is looming, and approaching fast!

DH surprised me with his present. Not at all romantic but something I'd enjoy...the first 3 seasons of Everybody Loves Raymond. LOL.

He also got the kids some presents, which was nice.

And oh I got a beautiful bouquet of roses and I think lillies. I was touched. Except for the price tag he left on it, it was perfect.

Hi girls!

My guy put together a scavenger hunt and at the end I got a gold heart charm for my charm braclet. I also got wild flowers (my favorite) and chocolets. It was great. I just got off of work but I have to go to school tonight so it is a busy night.

my DH did great this year. He had a dozen yellow roses (which are my favs)with a card and a brand new satellite radio......to top ikt off he took me and the kids to eat a steak dinner it was great!!!!

I did have a great V-Day! My fiance and I just went to dinner and hung out together all nigght. He bought me roses but we didn't exchange gifts cause we are trying to save $$$.

glad everyone had a nice vday. I got some roses even though we said no gifts this year, but atleast i was actually suprised for the first time.
i don't know if i'll get around to doing this challenge, ive gotta lot of recipe lo's to finish for a swap, spend time with my dh, and help him pack for his very long trip. i hate saying goodbyes... and this week has been horrible for it. i keep trying to make myself believe that he isn't really leaving, but he got his orders, his plane ticket and getting his weapons pretty soon. just a few more days with him. sniff sniff. i think this is gonna be harder than i thought. definatly gonna give ana some a few thumbs up for her time without dh.
ok, ladys, gotta do some stuff, maybe i'll work on this challenge after dh goes to bed.

I haven't even started challenge #4 yet, but I'm going to incorporate the V-day cards DH and I exchanged. He actually WROTE in his....can you believe it? Brought me to tears.

now that is sweet littlescrapper22....my DH wrote in my card as well...it was exciting!

I Finally had some time to get some work done. I made the BF a card for Valentine's Day. This is only the second card I've ever made and it definitely turned out better than the last card.

I'd love suggestions for the next time. All you card makers out there, HELP!
