Favorite Scrapbook Tools

Just for fun, what are your favorite scrapbook tools? The ones you just couldn't live without?

I Love my CM cutting system, I have all of the templetes.

I agree about the Creative Memories Complete cutting system.. they even have newer ones that have different shapes.. Its my most used tools.. also I like borderlines rulers from CM or anytype would probably be good I'm a total CM fan

Of all my scrapbook tools, I think I like the kids' bedtime the best. That way I can use all the other scrapbook tools without my little helpers! Just kidding, I enjoy them helping...some if the time!

I own every tool, bell, and whistle when it comes to scrapping--we even had to add a room to our house to hold it all. But the one tool I use on every single layout is my self healing mat, my clear ruler with the metal cutting edge, and my craft knife. I guess you would say "once a dinosaur, always a dinosaur".

My favorite tool for scrapbooking is definately my Fiskars Shape Cutter. I don't have too many templates yet, but I'm totally addicted to it!

I don't have much yet but I love my stainless steel 15 inch ruler. And I am a photo split freak, I got little blue squares all over my bedroom. I know they aren't really a tool but I use them to stick everything.

Okay, I love so many of my tools....my eyelet tools, my paper trimmer, my computer, etc. But my one absolute can't live without is something my dh made for me when I first started scrapping. It is a lap desk with a quilting mat on top.

When I am at home, I put it on the ottoman and start scrappin' while the guys watch a movie. I can also use it in the car to do little things while traveling. With that self healing mat, I can do anything on it. I LOVE IT!!

As a new scrapper without many tools, and without a large wallet, the best thing I have invested in yet is my Fiskars 12x12 personal paper trimmer. I am just alittle bummed that it doesn't work well on cardstock though.

I couldn't live without my fiskars trimmer, I use it on every page. My second would be my computer.

I have a few favorites.
#1 my fiskars cutter 12" (an absolute necessity)

#2 my hermafix temperary dot adhesives (I am a very indecisive, move it around a million times, kind of scrapper)

#3 my chalks (I love the depth they add to layouts)

I'm pretty new to this and I don't have everything yet, but I really like my Fiskar's shape cutter and my MM universal hole punch & eyelet setter.

P.S. If you consider a Zig pen a kind of tool, I really like that too.

Hey My2sons...have you tried changing the blade on the paper cutter? Mine used to cut cardstock all raggedy and tough then I changed the blade and it works good as new...well, it was new when it didn't work well. I guess it's works like it's supposed to now. HTH!

I love my colluzzle and fiskars paper trimmer and cm corner rounder!

When I first started I only had my scissors, Fiskars paper trimmer, and my Coluzzle swivel knife with self-healing mat. Now I have so much I don't think I could list it all. But for every page I still use the old reliable stand-by's!

I use my CM cutting sytem. I just purchased the new two celestial patterns and earned the three new patterns through the memory keepers. I also have the straight, circle and oval patterns, as well as the octagon, hexagon, and large oval. I also love my square punch (the bigger one) from CM. I also have the mini square punch but I don't use it all that much. I just purchased the larger round punch, but haven't used it too much yet.

I couldn't scrap without my CM cutting system and a good exacto knife. Well, I did scrap before the CM system, but it's much faster and easier with it.
I also love the CM square and circle makers, but I can scrap without those so I guess they are second favorites.

Yes I did change the blade. Actually, I changed it the first night I got it. Maybe I am using too much pressure and dulling the blade too quickly? I also use it to crop my photos, That is okay right, could that be why it seems so dull right away?

I wish I knew,Stacy. I don't know why it doesn't work right. mine doesn't seem to be dulled by cutting photos. Wish I could help.

I like my CM stuff too.. I have it all (I think) I also like the Marshell trimmer I just got, but I think my most favorite is my Camera...

I love my new zig embossing pen. I just started embossing and I love it!!!!

My2Sons... About the trimmer... It takes very little pressure to make the cut. To much pressure and the arm warps, the blade dulls, and you can cause the groove the blade runs in to become not so straight!

OH, I think I don't know my own strength . It is still cutting straight, but the blades are dulling really quickly. I guess I should use my superpower strength on something else LOL. Thanks for the tips.

My favorites are my computer, my CM corner rounder and my Fiskars 12x12 paper cutter! I also have the entire CM cutting system which I do use a lot!

Coluzzle is number 1. The templates are so easy to use and offers lots of variety.

The Internet is #2. I can get new ideas, buy supplies inexpensively, and share what I'm doing with others.
