I've used them, but found that it took too long to upload. Also, they sent me a notice saying that I had to order photos from a particular album, or they would delete the album. These days I use ofoto, which I think is now Kodak. I like Ofoto/Kodak's quality better, and the upload is much faster.
Having said that, I did use snapfish at Christmas. I was able to upload to them, and then pick up my prints later that day at the Walgreens in the next town. That was very handy, since I had put off my Christmas photocards until the last minute.
I have used snapfish for years and love them. It doesnt take too long to upload---actually alot faster than the gallery here. ut I have DSL so maybe that is the difference. The prints are about 10 cents each. I get all mine in matte finish so I dont have to worry about fingerprints--it is no extra charge. You can also get true digital prints. I get mine pretty fast too--about 4-5 days after ordering them. I have never gotten any notices that they were deleting my albums--they will keep your stuff on file forever. I have not used the Walgreen's feature yet but I am glad it is available--I have thought about it. I am very happy with them. Also, if you refer someone, you get free prints, So if you wanna join, please let me invite you so I can get free prints! LOL
I use snapfish for printing out a lot of 4x6 prints. If I'm printing out more of other sizes, like my nephews Senior pictures, I use scrapbookpictures.com. I placed an order on Wed afternoon and it arrived on Sat. (OR to GA) Plus, the shipping and handling is $2.oo no matter how much/what size you order.
I'm very happy with the quality glossy and matte. I like snapfish quality too.
All picture uploads are slow far me on dial-up, I just leave the computer on and uploading over night.
I like ofoto by kodak better. It's 15 cents a picture, but its Kodak quality so worth it. Plus Snapfish has one of the most expensive shipping out of all the companies. With ofoto my pictures load quicker and I can go pick my pictures up at CVS the same day.
I've used almost anything.
Snapfish is pretty good, also shutterfly is a good one. I use shutterfly more often then snapfish. My SIL asked me the same question so she sent one a couple pictures to different places and then decided from their. Picked the one she thought was better. Some people will say Snapfish is better and others would say shutterfly is.
Use them all the time and love them!! I too have DSL so it doesnt take muck time to upload!! I get them sooner then any other place I have used in the past!! I have pictures that should be here today from Snapfish!!!!
I ordered all of my wedding and honeymoon pictures from Snapfish! They have good quality, fast service, and they've never deleted any of my albums, even some I've never ordered from. Only once did two pictures not turn out (they came back black!), but snapfish gave me two credits for those pictures plus shipping to make up for it. I have used shutterfly, but recently I only use Walmart -they're much cheaper, and I can pick my pictures up in the store close to me.
I use snapfish all the time, and was very happy with them until my last order. I ordered a bunch of 8 x 10's and then sent them in the same all bent up...havent heard back to see if they'll credit me or not. I have no problems with quality otherwise, and prefer the matte finish.
I used to go through snapfish all the time, but the shipping started to get too high for the number of photos I ordered. I switched to winkflash because they only charge 99 CENTS as a FLAT RATE!! I've heard a lot of people don't like the quality of winkflash, but my last snapfish order came on "no name, thin paper" and my last winkflash came on "fuji, archival, thick paper"
I did have a technical problem with a photo book there once, so I used Shutterfly for that, but for regular digi pics/prints/albums, Snapfish works well for me.
I ordered from them once and the quality was okay it was the shipping I had an issue with...
But know I am a winflash fan... the quality is good and the order will ship the same day you submit your order if you do it early enough in the day... and with the shipping being a flat rate of $0.99 you can't beat that...

ME too! I just got an order from them last week with the same problem! They stuck my one 8x10 in the same envie as my 4x6s and 5x7s and the photos were a mess in the envie when they came and the 8x10 was bent! I usually love them but I ordered from winkflash the same day with no problems at all. I do prefer winkflash--good quality and 99 cent shipping no matter what!

I love Winkflash! They are awesome! I can order Sat and Sun and they will be here Thurs. or Friday. I ordered 124 photos, a mix of 4X6 and a lot of 5X7 and it was only $24 with shipping! Their prints are $.12 for 4X6 and $.29 for 5X7! If you google "Winkflash 50 free", your should be able to find an active code for your first order that will include 50 free prints!
does anyone know if any of these sites offer the metallice paper? i used to work in a lab and loved that paper and can't seem to find anyone that uses it anymore. tia
I use Winkflash...first time users get prints for .05 cents then it is .12 cents after initial order. Shipping is a flat rate of .99 cents with the exception of gifts like mugs and such.
There quality has always been good for me.
Just my .02 cents!
I used snapfish a few times, but I use shutterfly now and will never switch back. The prints are awesome quality and they do specials and stuff too. Snapfish is pretty cheap though.
I used winkflash for the first time and I was not to impressed with the paper the print was made on. It was very thin, not very sturdy. Is that normal? Are these prints any good for scrapbooking, do they crop easily? I am just in the process of finding a company I like so all these comments have been great.
All my snapfish prints have come on Fuji Crystal Archiver pape. I have never had an issue with their paper. My last shipping was about $15 for over 300 pics. So that is a surcharge of about 5 cents per pic. So I guess it really costs me about 14 cents per pic. But I can sit here at midnight and order them and get only the ones I want--with Costco I have to go inside and choose the pics--that can take forever. Plus at least with digi it is still cheaper than film. I have sent film in to snapfish too and it has come out great. I love that they convert all the images to digi for me.
if you are a costco member, you can upload your photos from home and then it tells you when you can pick them up from your local store or you can even have them shipped to you. my cousins from phoenix LOVE costco but the one here near cleveland is awful from what i've heard. just my 2 cents....
I used snapfish a few years back and wasn't happy with the quality. However, I just uploaded some pics a couple days ago and planned to give them another try. I have also tried Shutterfly and got the prints within a couple days of placing the order and was very pleased with the quality. I just learned of a site that does special sizes like 6x6, 8x8,etc. http://www.scrapbookpictures.com/SBPView.jsp (they have metallic paper BTW )I plan to try them as well.
I really didn't like snapfish because you had to upload a program into the comp. Right now I'm currenty going to scrapbookpictures.com. I'm able to get prints in the size of 8x8 or even as little as 2x2. I like the quality and the regular shipping isn't that bad. 2.00 flat rate no matter how much pictures you plan to develop.
