Dream Scrap room

I would like enough room for a table to sit at and work. Then have my desk and computer in there, a tv with DVD and a stereo in there. oh yeah storage would be nice too.. I am working out of a corner in the living room and the kitchen table...
I can do with out the mini fridge, cuz then i would get a little exercise going for something to drink... But the Chocolate is a must...

Funny you would post this. I am in the middle of moving my small scrapbooking room from a small little room (11 x 6) into my guest bedroom (14 x 15). I started moving things tonight, and my son is coming over tomorrow to help me move my computer desk (it's huge), my computer, another desk, all my paper racks, cabinets, and my copy machine. I decided that when we have guests, they can either sleep in the little "former" office or DH and I will give them our room and we'll sleep in the little room. My NEW SB room will have two huge windows and lots and lots of space. I am so excited. I have been years cramped in that little room and it has affected my desire to scrap because I can barely move in it. Now...I will have light and space (and no excuse not to scrap!).

Many of us have rooms, some have kitchen tables, BUT if we could HAVE anything we wanted, what would it be??

Here's mine:

LOTS and LOTS of space where all my scrapping friends could come and crop.

A huge kitchen style island that has drawers and cupboards all the way around for lots of storage that is tall enough to stand and work at. Big comfy chairs in case you WANTED to sit. The cuboards are all custom made to store my paper and other supplies.

There should be a sink at one end of the bar for washing up after stamps and other projects.

A mini fridge that is fully stocked with lots of Diet soda, and maybe a little chocolate (but since I'm wishing here, it needs to be calorie free chocolate that taste like the heavenly fat loaded type.)

A big huge desk with my computer, scanner, and printer, this should be L shaped so that I can turn and scrap while sitting close to the computer if I wanted.

Above my desk, I want lots of cork board so I can keep the pictures and supplies I want to work with in view, but not cluttered accross the desk.

And finally...David James Elliott (remember, I said ANYTHING) for a little eye candy and to hold Evan while I scrapped. (I was going to put a nanny in my room, but HEY if it's anything goes, I want someone good looking!!)

I like the idea about lots of room for friends, the island, custom cabinets, sink, and Mimi fridge. Oh, the chocolate too, but make it the kind that doesn't leave smudges on your fingers.

I would also have a tv mounted up in the corner of my room, (in case I want to listen to it while I scrap). A stereo for music (it's so inspiring).

I would like big windows, that looks out onto a nice, sandy beach (hey, it beats a neighbors house and a fence).

As for eye candy, ooh, soo many choices, but then men do begin to speak after a while, and that can be soo distracting.

I would love my own little room, it doesn't have to be huge or real special just my own space. It would have a large table so I could spread out. I would love an organizer unit of some kind that had cubby holes to hold my paper, and supplies. It would have to have a great sound system so I could listen to my favorite music.

My house is small so I have NO extra room anywhere, so I crop at the kitchen table which means that I have to set up and clean up everytime. I tried to make a room in part of my attic. I carpeted the floor have a card table and small desk up there, but unfortunately, it is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter to make it real useable.

I'd want plenty of work space, a stereo, and a scrapbook store within view and walking distance. Say, in the room next door. Oh, and the supplies would all be free!

Susan... I would have posted for a maid, but David James Elliott will straighten up for me. He's not JUST eye candy, he's Babysitter, maid, and errand boy. And since in MY mind he is THE perfect man, he will run errands to the scrap store for me, and ALWAYS come home with EXACTLY what I need! Plus if he gets to busy, I can always pull Pierce out of storage in the closet as backup eye candy.
