I am so excited too...hope I can get through 3 hours of work tomorrow and actually get something done with the kids before I leave LOL. The days always go fast but with the anticipation those 3 hours may drag on.

Is it quite on here because we are all demo'ing or practicing for our demo's?

hmmm, any demonstrations in Canada....say Toronto area?

Practicing - It is really fun, used pre-made sugar cookie dough to conserve frosting sheets and made a few cute cookies. Just used the four cartridges that came with the kit.

Syncing the gypsy and getting ready to try it out on a frosting sheet. Decorating a frozen cake for photos. Had to be very creative because all I got were white sheets. I am by no means a baker, but this is really fun, even for the kitchen impaired!

Glad to see all of you had a great time. I hear now that you are given a Gypsy to use for your demos, but if you leave it goes back to the company. How about the new cake machine. Is it the same way....well did you get one.

Jackie, we've been told that all of the equipment will be returned to PC. But we're hoping all everything goes so well and we sell so many that in the end they'll let us keep them (Cake, 4 carts, gypsy). I'm sure that is what all the new demonstrators were told.

Cathy thanks for the info. I hope for all of you this works out. I have called my local rep, to see if they are still looking for people in my area. They had one opening, but it was like a four to five hour drive. But she put my name down, and said they might have something going on at the end or May, first of June for my area. Lets keep our finger crossed.

I am hopin the same thing. I already have a Gypsy, but I would really like to have the Cricut Cake and the 4 Cart that are with it.

Hi! I'm just reading this thread now and would LOVE to demo the Cricut at Costco, Michaels, Joannes, you name it! I'm currently living just outside St. Louis, Missouri in Eureka. do you have any current openings in this area or do you anticipate any??

I'd also be willing to go to Chicago for special events and any place in Illinois just over the St. Louis border for weekend demos.

I've been scrapping for years and years. I've taught and designed classes when I lived in Richmond, Virginia. I've had one layout published in Doodling for Papercrafters. I now sell cards and wall art which I've made with the Cricut on consignment in the Wool Gatherings. I've also made several vases and glasses both with the vinyl and with the vinyl as a mask filled in with the glass etching.

Please let me know the current situations and anything on the horizon!!
