today is better, actually. got interested in crafting again via a new altered canvas swap and i joined it today, should be fun. while i am waiting for partners to be assigned, i am going to make my first ever altered canvas to give to my best friend, as pratcie for the swap. wish me luck!

I had to share. Kind of a toot for me I always take my cards in to share. I made the purple Happy Birthday card with flowers for the nurse I work with. Well, she asked me if I would mind making a Birthday card for her and she would pay me. It would be for another nurse and she said she really like the personal touch of my cards Well to say the least I was so touched. I told her I would be honored and not to pay me. Just someone asking me to make one for them is payment enough. Just wanted to share my excitment.

Good Morning, had some snow fall last nite. The scale was nice to me this morning My lowest in a very very long time. Got the card made and will be flying out tonite to CA for a week. I will try and check in, but with 3 grandchildren and a 2 day trip to Disneyland, might be hard

I got my cards today from Chris. LOVE them! She did iris fold on one of tehm and I have been thinking about trying that lately. I will take pics and post later...hopefully today. Thanks Chris!

Hey all!! Hope everyone has had an awesome week!!! I got one of my cards done yesterday and the husband and I are headed to San Jose for the weekend so I will be getting the other two done on Monday hopefully. The plan is to be slippin the envelope into that big friendly blue mail box at the post office no later than Wednesday!! I'm excited to get them out and I'm excited to get mine in!!! :-) Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!

Karen, I am so glad that you liked the card. I really injoyed doing the Iris folding one. Going to try a few others I have some patterns I am in CA, DD is showering and then we will be off. Have a great day.

I am working on mine later today, after work, they are seating on my table right now, along with the paper and the sheet on what we are to make this month. If I get them all finished today, then I will go postal tomorrow with them.

Hope your not disappointed with my cards. I used my Cricut on the one. Had fun playing with it. The one I used the "All Dressed Up" papper on. I love all the designs and glitter on it.

Mine is on its way as of early this morning. Mom had to drop it off, since I was lagging today to get out of bed, stayed up too late working on one of my swaps.

Whoo hoo! Got mine in the mail today before 5 o'clock so hopefully they will get to their destination by Saturday or Monday. They aren't as good as I wish they were but card making is not my forte but it's getting better.
