Stampin Up Angel Policy Copywrite Stamp

I would like to start selling cards stamped with Stampin Up stamps in addition to my other cards, and I know I need one of their copywrite stamps to do so. I hate to buy a whole stamp set for one stamp - does anyone have a spare I can buy or want to split a set with me? Let me know! Elin K.

I know there is the Art by Design set. I can't remember if any other of their sets have the copyright. I wouldn't mind splitting a set with you. I was actually thinking that I would like to get one, but I didn't want to have to buy an entire set, too!

Art by Design is the only current set (by my recollection!) but you could also get a personalized copyright stamp that has your name on it.

Karen - as far as I can tell, Art by Design IS the only set with the copywrite info on it - and I see that Jessica concurs (thanks, Jessica!).

There are 8 stamps in the set and only three have the copywrite info. If you want to split the set with me, either in half or if you just want a few, that would be wonderful! Please e-mail me privately so we can work out the details.

At first, I read it to mean that you can only download it if you have the design studio software. But, upon closer examination, I think that it is actually saying that if you have the software, you already have it.

It would be equally as simple for me to use this instead of a stamp, and a lot cheaper, too. (and I would have it tonight - instant gratification!)

Am I reading this correctly?

We weren't specifically given instruction if "hand" stamped (vs. digital) items had to have a "hand" stamped copyright, but I just went to the demo website, and it just says that all items to be sold must be marked with an angel stamp or a digital angel stamp. So I think you're good to go! Great catch!

Just be sure to use a demo's website to save the 11 cents!

OK - I bought it and downloaded it last night. The total with tax came to $1.01 - way, way less than the stamp set!

They downloaded in a picture file (.png). I'm not terribly computer savvy, but I was able to open them individually through the Microsoft Picture Viewer. They should print fine. I figure I'll just cut them out with pretty punches.

Score! I can open a PNG file in Photoshop. Thanks! I think I'll go this route, too. Print them out on cardstock, trim them real nice, and them maybe use my Watercolor crayons to fill in!

There is also another stamp set that has the stampin up logo as well as #makecards & a few other hashtags too. It has several different stamps "made for you by", "hand made by" It's called Make a Difference, & it also has the whole alphabet. Hope this helps!
