HELP I can't unscrew the posts on my new scrapbook album

Hi, can anyone help me... I got this really cute Frame-a-Name album from K & Company, but now I'm having trouble with it. I want to add some pages to it, but Ican't get the posts to unscrew. They just turn and turn and turn - but they won't come off! I tried a screwdriver, a knife and a coin, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas what I could do?

you may have to hold the other end where the screw screws into. Good luck!

is there a way you can cut them and then put either a snap load or another post system in? i think cutting them may be a possiblity.. i dont really have another idea sorry...

I agree with Fargomutt. Keep the other end still otherwise it will turn together.

yep, you'll have to hold down the other side, I had this problem!

i have to hold the one side while i turn the other one everytime i open and close mine, otherwise they will turn together and you don't get anywhere LOL

I have had the same problem with K&CO albums...one of my K&CO albums did not come apart so pages could be added...I had my hubby cut them and just used new post....the other that did come apart, I hel one end with needle nose pliers so I could keep a good grip on it, then turned the other end with another pair of needle nose pliers...good luck

Yep, you need two people, pliers and a screwdriver, it can be quite an operation-don't forget to get pictures!!!
