I just stopped at Hobby Lobby and they didn't have the Veggietales kit. I did pick up some veggie stickers and a boy paper kit on 30% off. AND I took Noah's pictures with the scarey crows for his scrapbook. Too amusing!

This does come up often. I leave lots and lots of comments. Many are just great or sweet or cute layout type comments. A few I'll state something about the photo or embellishment or colors. All depends on my mood and time of day.

I know that I'm in some challenges that require everyone to leave comments. I told people it was fine leave me a smilie face to let me know they at least came by and looked. I think that's a good thing, you know, that someone smiled.

I set another crazy goal for this month. 208 layouts. I got 161 with all the craziness and this month should be quieter by far. Plus I'm redoing the old albums from church so that counts since I'm doing more than just putting them into sheet protectors.

I love getting comments or just people dropping in. Nothing sadder than seeing the number of people who viewed the layout but didn't leave a comment.

Apparently she was throwing up since 8am and went to the nurse's offices 4 times before they finally allowed her to go home. I took her to my Mom's house to rest since I have to go back out in 2 hrs to pick up the rest of the kids. She shouldn't have to be out in the heat with me if she already feels so lousy.

Yep, I still am as far as I know. There's two others with more posts than me. One has 4294967295 and the other one 4294967293 but I think those are glitches.

Well, I started the "Get your post count up" thread last year and that got me to around 8000 and more. Between challenges, random gallery comments, and this thread, my post count goes up really fast.

Matt has a Caesar chicken salad in the fridge for tomorrow. I'm thinking about stealing it.

I am sitting here waiting for the muscle relaxers to kick in so I can actually get things done today(I did something to the muscles in my lower back, ouch). I have so many errands to run because I don't want to do anything tomorrow.

Hi all! Just got in, finished lunch, fed the squirrel and read to get caught up. Delta didn't give our bag to USAirways, so our bag (as of 1:30) is still in Philly. It's been a crazy day, so I think I'm just gonna go take a nap until my Mom drops Abby off.

Most of the redness is gone already. Still have way more blemishes than I did before, but hopefully those will clear up soon. For a while, my face was looking flushed from the red splotches.

VCW #29: Anna and Suzie are talking about pantry/food stuff.

Got me thinking.

I've got two huge trays (foil pan, industrial size, not the kind you can buy at the store either, way bigger). One is full of pork hash with that mustard sauce on it and the other tray cooked rice.

Church had a function this past Saturday (which I didn't go to) where they served alot of bbq. We ate alot of it yesterday at the church potluck. But there's still a full, unused pans of what I mentioned.

So here's my thinking. I'm not just gonna serve these Wednesday. I'm sure many people are tired of this, since many had it Saturday and Sunday.

I'm thinking of doing some like mac and cheese but with rice and cheese. Some sort of cheesy rice casserole.

The hash has me wondering what to do with it. The mustard sauce is very tart and strong. I need to tone that down and add some other things to make it less "hash like."

Any ideas?

I'm also thinking of what veggie should I serve on the side. Green beans?

Oh, our cat, SPOCK caught a squirrel this morning. He has this "special" meow any time he brings home a "present." Normally a "good kitty" and like praises is enough for him to let go. Well not today!

I tried to get him to release it with a vitamin treat. No go. Other cat ate it. All the while SPOCK is growling at dh who is trying to get the squirrel from him.

I opened a can of mackerel, pour a bit of the liquid into a bowl. Put the bowl next to SPOCK. Never seen his head move that fast!! Let go of the squirrel and was lapping up the liquid!

SPOCK's our hunter. When ever he gets in trouble with me or dh, he brings home presents. Or is he punishing us with these things?

Pork hash is all the left over stuff from the bbqed pig (don't ask for details) then smothered with a sauce to hide it further.

Kinda glad I don't speak feline. SPOCK is a nagging cat. On Fridays, he gets his hair ball stuff. He knows when it's Friday! He has a special meow to remind me to give him this "treat." I'm happy about that since he'll leave a rather unpleasant reminder on the carpet when he doesn't get this remedy regularly.

Then he has another meow to let me know he's displeased with something...I think I do speak feline.

Did ya know that cats do not meow to other cats only their humans? They hiss and yow at other cats but rarely meow.

DH just called me and said he was buying a polo shirt. Who is this man that called and what did he do with my "proud of dressing horribly" husband?

I'm going to pick up the trays from church tonight when dh and I go to help someone with their printer. I'll take some out and experiment with it.

I wonder if it will be too much a clash to added chopped tomatoes? Thinking of adding cooked bacon, small cubed potatoes. Got really nothing. Just need to experiment but how?

I just told DH that I had over 20200 posts here now. His reply, "Wow, you missed me a lot".

Potatoes would be a good "flavor soaker upper".

I see alot of layouts. I do ask for critique in some instances but peoples styles and tastes are so different. I love giving critique but always couch with "if this was my layout" type stuff.
