Print small pics

Hi everyone! I need to print some smaller photos. As in, wallet size or smaller. I have over 2500 photos from my recent trip to Italy. I was there for Carnival, and I have tons of pics of the costumes. I want to scrap a lot of these, but I want to include a LOT in each page so that I don't have to do so many pages.

I don't have a photo printer at home, so I have to use services like Walmart or something online. I have tried printing wallet size, but then I will get multiple prints of each picture. Does anyone have any tips on printing smaller photos? I am trying to do a collage so that I have multiple pics in one print, but I wanted to check here to see if anyone has any other tricks.

I'm new to printing pictures in different sizes and edited, etc. But, as far as I know, you can only print wallets in duplicates. Walmart gives you two wallets, Walgreens gives you four.

You can set up as a collage in Picasa and print multi pics that way.

I make collages with the Rite-Aid machines in any size from 5x7 to 6x8 to 8x10 to put a lot of pics on 1 sheet. Then you can cut apart or leave whole and scrap them. And dont forget about the page protectors that hold individual pics that you can put behind the pages in the album. You can fit 10-12 of them there to be seen without having to actually scrap them. Or include a CD ROM with the pics in a pocket on the page or in the album itself for quick on-the-computer review.

At Rite-Aid, is your collage all different sizes for the photos or are they in strips where all the photos are lined up and the same size? I have been trying to do a collage, but the ones I am trying are including 10-20 pictures but all different sizes and not lined up. It looks nice if I was keeping them all in one print, but I want to cut them up.

They have different ones. Ive had the ones when you caut them up it looke like photo booth strips....then Ive had the ones with 4 diff sizes. They often change the machines and programs, and if your machines are Kodak, they will soon be gone, and probably be Fuji. which are awesome pics too. Have you tried Shutterfly? I would think they have something like that too? I use them for calendars and printing massive ammts of pics, but havent played with the colleges to see what they offer.

That's what I do.

I order from Snapfish and pick them up at Wal-Mart. You can do the collage feature on there, and if you put 2 pictures on a 4x6 size, this will give you wallet size photos.

Hi! There is function on Walmart.com where you can add a frame and there is a frame with a thick white border you could use. I use it it all the time. But it is priced as a 4x6. But if you go to Walgreens.com you could get a good deal. Like right now I think they have buy 25 get 25 free. I hope this helps!

Oh I forgot to tell you that on Walgreens they have the same frame function.

You can print any size photos you want by pulling them into a word processing program (Select Insert Photo, choose the file & click on it, & it'll bring it onto the page). Then, click on the picture & a window will come up with properties options for the picture, & you can resize it there, or you can "pull" the arrows on the sides of the picture to resize it manually. Good way to get lots of pics onto a sheet of that costly photo paper.
I don't have a photo printer, either, just a standard color printer. I choose the paper & quality I want, & it works nicely. Good luck!

I usually use Walgreens collage, 2 pictures on 4x6 print. Can print horizontal or landscape with thick, thin or no borders and change border colors. I think normally they are 29 cents but collages are on sale often.

When I want multiple photos on a page, I print them in a passport size. They are perfect for mini albums too.

I have Picasa but haven't really used it. I as well wanna prong smaller photos. How do you print them after making the collage???

I use the "shop" button that is at the bottom of Picasa to send it out for printing. I make sure my collage will print on 4x6 (so that it's cheap), then when I get the photo back I trim it to get my smaller photos.
