Unmounted stamp storage

So I wanted to be able to store my stamps in a DVD storage box with my embossing folders but I wasn't finding DVD size pockets in the store. (I hate paying shipping lol). I laminated the card that came with the stamps and stuck the stamps to the back of it. They seem well stuck but it makes me nervous just having them on there in the stack not in a pouch. Anyone ever done this? Do they stay on there? Seems perfect right now. Thanks. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/122083/view /5130819/...

I haven't laminated the labels, but I've used plastic packaging to stick cling stamps to, and they seem to stick OK. In the basket like that they won't go far even if they do fall off, and as you add more, they'll get compressed against each other.

I should think you'll be fine unless you want to travel with them. If I was taking them to a crop like that I would want them in a sealed crate so that they didn't fall out.

    Good idea!

    RE: Mindygail: hi!
    I buy Staples® 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Sheet Protectors, Clear, 25/Pack,they are about $5 per pack.
Cut off the white piece with punched holes.

I use a piece of vinyl cover (I order vinyl covers and clear acrylic sheets from this site,it is cheaper than buying by sheet at the craft stores:http://www.cfsbinds.com/clearvincov.html) cut it in half and put it in the middle of the protector(converted to a bag, then two pieces of acrylic sheets-to attach my stamps to them (back side). This way I do not need to keep original packaging acrylic piece with printed stamp image on it-black vinyl cover does the trick for clear stamps.
Bonus-I can use both sides of the pocket to insert my clear acrylic sheets with stamps on it with black vinyl divider in the middle .
I converted all my wooden stamps to cling stamps,
and store them same way with my clear stamps.
I also use same system for my dies storage ,except that I use two pieces of black vinyl sheets, each cut in half with magnetic sheet attached to one side of each sheet(I tried to use one piece of black vinyl with magnetic sheet on both sides,it did not work, dies were sliding down from one side when i needed the die from the oppsite side and pulled it out of the pocket)so I use two black vinyl pieces, with one magnetic side on each, stored back to back in one pocket .(For magnetic sheets in bulk-these are the cheapest ones I found, sold in bulk, and they are good quality, not the ones from Walmart crafts, which were flimsy and did not hold anything :http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SOV4NQ ?psc=1&redirect=true& amp;ref_=oh_aui_detailpag e_o07_s00) to the vinyl and store my dies back to back in same A4 page protectors as my stamps.
I use similar to this box (http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/452306/Rea lly-Useful-Boxes-Plastic- Storage-Box/), to store all my stamps, dies and embossing folders:

I made dividers and labeled them with dymo machine for each theme(I do not keep stamps by brand, but rather-by topic)

It is sort of modified Jennifer McGuire's way of the stamp storage(http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2013/06/video-clear-a nd-cling-stamp-storage-gi veaway.html),only my way.I use dvd storage plastic boxes from Staples to keep my stamps pockets vertcally.
i have three of the boxes fitted on a second shelf of my rolling cart (http://www.walmart.com/ip/17108717?wmlspartn er=wlpa&selectedSelle rId=0&adid=2222222222 7009507328&wl0=&w l1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40 344183992&wl4=&wl 5=pla&wl6=78307319672 &veh=sem) with my Silhouette Cameo sitting on top of it.
    Hope that helps!))
