Need party ideas? How about silly string, Pin the Spider on the Web, & cupcakes with 8 licorice whip legs.
Do they still make Wacky Wall Walkers? Sticky rubbery toys one throws at the wall and they "walk" down? There used to be spiders.
Oriental Trading Company is a good place to look for inexpensive party favors. Go to http://www.oriental.com/ and do a search for the word "spider". One of the things they have is 144 glow in the dark spider rings for $2.49. When my nephew was about that age, he got a package of glow in the dark spiders at dollar tree and had fun hunting for them in the dark for MONTHS.
