My dsil already had a Cricut Expression and she just got a Slice for her anniversary. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Do you think she needs both of them?
I just bought a Slice this week and love it!! I have had fun playing with it but haven't used it for a major project yet. The best part of mine was the price, got an unbelievable buy which made it even better!
I have both of them, but my Cricut is more versatile. The Slice is cheaper and the carts are cheaper too. The Cricut has more options and I have the Gypsy so it can do almost anything now.
Keep them both!
I don't have both but am loving the Slice!!! And IF I did have a Cricut, I'd keep them both. They both have different 'styles' on their carts... The designers they use for their stuff each have their own flavors. I've borrowed my gf's Cricut before and love it as well.
If you see a pic of a birthday cake for example. You'll see that both the birthday cakes are 'drawn' in a different style. So it just depends upon what you are wanting. I do see that Cricut has a lot of licensed stuff that would be cool to have, but the Slice has a lot to offer in different pics and themes as well.
i don't have a slice, but i have a baby bug. I love it, but when i go to my crops, a friend brings her e. I love it too. I would like to try out a slice before i buy it since i am thinking about getting the new cricut for cakes. i have access to an e, so that is on the back burner, and i do very well with my baby bug as it is
