Best tool for cutting out printed images

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good cutting tool for printed images ( ie...Winnie the Pooh ) on card stock ). I bought an EZ-Cutter and I HATE it. The templates it came with are plastic and the EZ cuts right into them plus it's hard to get it to go around the template neatly. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I use the cricut expression with the winnie the pooh cartridge. Sorry I don't use any other type of cutting machine.

heard tweezerbee scissors are wonderful for such a thing.

Good old exacto knife. Sometimes the basics can do wonders.

A nice small pair of scissors -- a lot of people like the Cutterbees -- and a lot of patience.

Cutterbee scissors are good for small, detailed cuts.

Keep in mind--- images of Winnie the Pooh are probably copyrighted, and technically are not supposed to be printed and used.

There is a trick to using the EZ-Cutter. I have one and I really like it for quick simple shapes. First, you need a glass mat. A glass mat is essential for any blade cutting I think anyway. And the second thing is to make sure your have the barrel pushed all the way down and start you blade in the direction your going to cut by running it on a piece of scrap cardstock first. Making sure the barrel is all the way down prevents your blade from jumping and cutting your template. Then move to your template and cut. And, one more thing, make sure you have enough pressure to go all the way through the paper.

For free hand cutting, I've used a blade runner and a good old xacto scalpel type knife. But for digital images, nothing beats the print & cut feature of a CraftRobo.

Cutter be scissors and an exacto knife. Cutting with scissors is one of the most therapeutic parts of scrap booking to me. Remember to move the paper, not the scissors when you are cutting.

I use an exacto knife. Yes, it takes some time and patience but it works for me.

I am terrible with an exacto knife ... I use my CM or Tim Holtz scissors and that works fine

I've tried the exacto knife too but I always end up using my small scissors. I can work a lot faster with those and much easier.

I'm too clumsy with the Exacto so went on a search for something different, yet similar. Found the perfect tools! Fiskars...they are small and fit inside your hand. One is pink that cuts straight and the other is purple with a blade that turns for curves. Can't live without them!

For tiny spots try embroidery curved scissors along with the exacto knife. My hands are disabled and these are the two tools I use. So far I don't have the expression.
