What to do with the wood blocks?

I found my stamp sets in storage last night, and want to start using them again. I have a fair number of them that are mounted onto wood blocks, and want to take them off and convert them to cling stamps. I know how to do that, but don't know what to do with the stack of wood blocks I'll have when I'm done.

Have any of you found places to donate them? Did you find another use for them? I'm looking for alternatives to just chucking them or letting them sit around my house.

Depending on the size, you could use the prickly side of dollar store Velcro tape and turn them into blending tools. I can never seem to have enough of them. Cut up regular felt sheets to size and you can have one for each colour.

How do you use the stamps unmounted??

You mount them on cling foam, then use them with the clear blocks that you use for acrylic stamps.

When you're done stamping, how do you store your new, unmounted stamps? When you buy stamps that are unmounted, there is an acrylic sheet that I keep hearing is where I need to return the stamp.

You can keep them in a binder on plastic report covers (stiffer plastic pages with paper insert.) You can get them in any office supply departmemt or store. Usually sold 3+ /package. Not.the flimsy notebook binders,, but the clear pocket pages that have an 8 1/2 x 11" paper in the pocket, actually called Report cover. Some might be colored, but still clear. Not expensive at all.
I cut the pages out from a window cling storage book I had but never used, punched holes, and keep mine on those pages, in categories, in a binder

I just toss the blocks.
If you have a bandsaw, cut off the gummed edge.
