Tape Runner Help - like old CM non-refillables??

Hopefully someone can help me... I love the OLD CM taperunners - the non-refillable kind that did not leave that annoying trail of empty paper coming out the back. I am finally running out of my stash and can't afford to be paying big bucks on e-bay for them any longer. Does anyone know of any other brands similar to this style? About a year ago my local sb store was promoting one that was almost exactly the same and I figured I would buy those when I used up my supply... but now I no longer live by that store and didn't write down the brand!

I'm with you! I LOVED the old tape runners. I hate the new one. Not only do I hate the trail of paper running out, it seems to jam up alot. And it's loaded properly. It drives mc crazy.

I have a CM tape runner right now and I cant get the darn thing to work I dont know whats wrong with it , and its a brand new refill.

So I ended up buying a tape runner and the brand is scrapbook adhesive, its just like the CM tape runner. It goes on with little strips like how the CM does.

I am totally with you guys. I LOVE LOVE LOVED the old style tape runners and agree the new ones are stinky. Thanks for the suggestion of 3L, I'll have to check it out!

i dont have the CM tape runner, but you know...whenever they change something and say its "new and improved", they just mess it up.

Try the "Duck" brand tape runner. I love them!

I have to admit they are alittle challenaging... okay so alot challenaging! I don't like the new ones either but I am determined to use this one up till its done w/..

What is tape runner????? Is it like double sided tape?

Yep thats exactly what it is. But creative memorie's ones come w/ tape that comes out in little tabs to make it easier for things that are smaller. Very neat but kind aggrevating!

What is it you all hate about the CM non refillable runner? The thing I hate is that it seems to jam up alot...then I have this buildup of tape and paper inside and it's a big mess. Is this what yours do too?
