Won't be able to play until later. Have a dentist appointment today and both kids are awake (usually if it's just Micayla awake she'll scrap with me or do a card or something). She's bummed because I bought her a punch (she loves them) and she can't use it yet

hehe...she needs her very own X so she can make stickers!

That's a great idea except I'll give her my pink one (She loves pink and I don't like it) and buy the purple one and keep a very close eye on it because she loves purple too but it's one of my favorite colors (as you all know).

okay, I have my next layout, or at least the pics, not sure how I want to do the lo yet. I have a series of pictures of my grandparents and another couple on Goat Island at Niagara Falls, that I swear look like scenes out of an old movie!

I'm pretty sure Wal-Mart can do that. I took all the negatives from my wedding (it was shot in film instead of digital) and they scanned them all and put them on a CD for me. So now I can go back and reprint pics I want and do different sizes or upload them to the website I usually get pics from!

They did them in store at my WM. I dropped them off one morning and picked them up after work the same day. I'm wanting to say it was like $2.95 or $3.95 for the CD. Someone (can't remember if it was the photo lab or someone else who had had it done) told me that they can put something like 600 pics on one CD.

The wound isn't very wide, but the doc said it was deep for the foot. Of course, we had to judge that by the blood on the scissors. I guess if I had to stab myself with scissors, better that they are small! It's just really sore and I can't walk on it yet. It's hot as all get out here and I can't get in the pool.

I glare at Abby thinking she'd asked my mom for money (which she usually wouldn't do) mom was quick to tell me that she'd seen the phone book open to the quick loans and put 2 and 2 together. She says the loan places are evil and she can wait 3 weeks to get her computer and let Abby borrow the money. I didn't want to ask because she gave Abby the initial deposit and my brother sees her checking account statements and I think this is going to cause an issue. I hope not, and if we get the money to her before the next statement she'll be able to tell him that. Then when I'm at work my cell phone rings, it's one of the businesses that we sent solicitation letters to. They have a check for her to come pick up. So mom gave her a check for the remainder.

Oh that is FANTASTIC!!!! Things are working out just right.
On our end, my blank check came back still blank today because the lady in charge of the fundraiser didn't have everyone's profit figured out. Now the money is due July 10th. That means another pay day in there. That will really help!

Home from school early today because it got so hot in our classroom. So I come home and I am immediately bombarded with Abby begging to do things, complaining that her dad already said no and he always says no....I just told her to step away for a minute. I need a breather.

I will take some deep breaths....then tackle the issues going on here. Then I have lots of homework. Must turn everything in tomorrow. I really have until July 6th, but I want it FINISHED!!!

I have this container of mixed up brads and I'm separating them. Well, at least it keeps me busy.

I really didn't need to hear about the airplane study telling which seats have a better chance of survival in a plane fire/crash. Not with John in Texas until Monday night.

That's wonderful! My son got his report card and he had passed everything but English, so we logged on the parental internet viewer and saw that the teacher had not graded his research paper. I knew he turned it in because I printed it out for him. We contacted the principal, and long story short, he's making him treat the research paper as a rough draft and then making him do it even more in depth. The paper is on Mahatma Ghandi. Anyway, he will then pass. He still gave me no explanation why there was no grade at all.

Something's definately fishy there! First not grading the paper at all and then requiring him to basically redo it?

He kept having problems with this teacher, so he was smart enough to take a hall monitor with him when he turned it in. I have to assume they will deal with the teacher appropiately. Believe me, it won't hurt my son to redo the paper. A lot of it is really good, but I think having to redo it will keep him on the ball next year. His grade should not have depended on that paper.
