SANS meaning sans kids lol I am a 28yo wife, married 10 years no kids. I find myself scrapbooking mostly my pets and my extended family. I enjoy this but find that I dont have much in common with other scrappers who are mostly scrapping cute kids pictures and chatting bout diaper rashes and first steps and all the fun things that I havent gotten to experience yet.
So I thought I would start a thread for those of us who dont have any children this includes all you single people out there!
I would love to see some of your work and trade ideas! Lets make a close little community for ourselves!
Also I am trying to start a circle journal group if anyone is interested the description is below...
...
Circle journaling - each member chooses a theme for their own journal and creates an album with enough blank space for each scrapper to craft a one - or two- page layout. The album's owner embelishes the cover according to their theme and creates an introduction page that explains her topic and what she hopes each member will communicate in the album. There's usually a sign-in page for each member to include their names, dates, locations and often a photograph of themselves.
Once the albums are ready to go, each member passes her journal to the next person in the circle. Upon reciept, a member completes a layout based on the theme of that book and then passes it on to the next scrapbooker at a predetermined date, usually about a month later. After the last layout is completed, the book is given back to its owner, and everyone will have done a layout in each other's circle journals. The result is an album filled with variations on each theme and an array of scrapping styles and ideas.

I have had people ask me "What do you scrap if you don't have kids?" which is just the craziest question to me! I'm about 2 years behind in my life-as-it-happens albums as I call them, plus I need to go back and finish childhood stuff - so my hope is to be current by the time we do finally start having kids, because I think catching up after that will be about hopeless!

I raise my hand on this one. I have been married for 4 years now with no kids by choice, except one very very spoiled little dog! Between him, dh and I, scrapbooking is never on pause for me!! However, I do enjoy scrapbooking my two nieces and younger siblings as they grow up. I am definitely the family photographer, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Glad to join all of you!
