Got another page done in the "secret" album for dh last night. Couldn't post to you since my internet was faulty!

I'm trying so hard to get as much of the album done cause we leave for vacation on Aug 11. Return on Aug 17 and the party is on Aug 18!! But - like I said before he'll get whatever is done. I know there will be more to add once people see it and decide they have something to contribute. I've gotten a few more pix from friends & family. And 2 more stories.

morning all! I slept "late" this morning: all the way until 6! I worked on a couple of pages last night. They're no where close to being done, but it was fun to just mess around and get dirty. It's making me wish that I was already done with my day job so I could get more done.

At least they're actually chatting and not doing numbers or such. It will take a bit to knock them out. But that's not our goal. It was funny having all VCW threads in the hot topics but remember, we're HOT regardless of that list.

This probably won't work, but the first thing that came to my mind was something that we often end up saying during rehearsal for worship team (singing) at church. There's a song called "It's All About You" (referring to Jesus). And if someone's getting picky about the music arrangements, the sound system, the way their mic is working...the pianish will start playing that song, and someone will sing, "It's all about ME..." Then someone else will add, "It really IS all about me."

So I'm thinking, "It's all about me..." as a title.

Like I said, probably wouldn't work. *shrug*

Oh, that is too funny. A group of us here have that as a running joke "you know, it IS all about me." It keeps things in proper perspective.

HL does have AL stamps, but I don't believe the take competetor(sp?) Coupons , but they do have 40% off Coupons this week - just go to their website. My Joann's had some new stuff today and I was impressed!! They had some $1 clear stamps. They had these cute lil flip flops and I thought about getting them for my "Flip Flop Summer Tour" LO. They also had $1 rubber stamps of halloween. Plus they had this Fall Glitter Mat Stack by DCWV. I almost got that with my 50% off coupon....

My secret ingredient is....OREGANO...

After I add all the dry ingredients, I take a good teaspoon or two of oregano, crush it in my hands, and sprinkle it over the dough. Then I add the water and the EVOO and start to stir and knead.

And they couldn't figure that out? Hmmm. Will have to try it. Thanks.

But there is a poem/quote for every other picture in it(I am doing an exploding box). I have decided on using "Before they can be men, they must be boys". It fits him.

But once they become men, they're still boys. Jory and DH have been known to do more than throw the ol' football around. They "rassle." They play Transformers. They play G.I. Joes. (Jory calls them "I.G. Joes" to be silly.) They play video games. Yes, I've caught Jeremy on the floor with Jory, playing Hot Wheels. (I'm no better...I've been caught on the floor with Lizzie, playing Barbies. And playing dress-up. All kinds of girly stuff. )

Heck. My dh built a tree house supposedly for our son but really it was for him! He's not fooling anyone! Also the train that used to go around my son's room, for dh, too. Now it's these Star Wars games. It's really for both but dh keeps trying to say it's for ds's fun that he bought an extra copy so he could play along. No one's fooled.

It's 8:35 am where I am. For today, I'm meeting my dd and boys at our favorite sushi place for lunch at 11. So I'm skipping breakfast. Son will be going with me.

Then I'm hitting M's and ACM's for the Stamp Press and ATG gun refills. Sam's for Season 10 of SG1 and Best Buy for Serenity. There will be some food shopping in there too. I also want to find a nice, romantic night gown. Nothing sleazy as dh doesn't like those. Something frilly and uncomfortable to actually sleep in. Kinda Juliet-esk

Yeah I decided I need to alter paint cans... and I'm still trying to research some companies for possible business stuff like Moxie does. I swear she's such an inspiration with her business, but I'm sure she's super determined & motivated. *hehe* My parents have a home business (NOT SB stuff tho LOL!) and I always thought "Ugh! that stuff never works - I'm never doing that stuff" - but I guess you just need to find what you're interested in.

I purchaed 3 sets of Perfect Pearls. Each set comes with 2 brushes, perfect medium and 4 colors. The sets were Metallic, Patina and Jewels. I also got 3 Leafing Pens, one each of Gold, Silver and Copper and 3 packages of Magenta Letters, "C", "E" and "M". I was so excited!!!!

The J's near me had some great stuff in there $1 or less bins this week. I picked up packs of brads, ribbon glides, stickers and some rubber stamps for $.25 - $.50 each!
