Like when dh wanted his toe nail fungus taken care of, easy, here's the 'script. When he looked at possible side effect, he decided to not to take the meds. He'd rather have ugly toe nails than to lose his liver. We found more "natural" ways to treat his toe nails.

You dd is already on some meds. Are any of them known to be anti-coagulants? Or have that as a possible side effect?

No, her antidepressant does not cause bleeding. She also takes a multivitamin. I wonder if this is why she is always so tired.

One of the side effects of anti-depressants is fatigue. I cope with it by drinking lots of coffee, knowing when my most productive hours are (usually in the mornings right after I take my meds) and doing stuff then, I take a med to counteract some of the fatigue and I have a pretty set schedule as far as bedtime and such goes. I've also found that vitamins, good diet and exercise also help.

Almost forgot - drinking lots of cold water also helps. I'm not sure why, but it does for me.

When I did overeaters anon. some of the ladies were upset that a few of the ladies weren't "large" and didn't want them in our group. Two ladies I knew well felt they needed to lose weight from babies and what the others did not know was one of the ladies was bulimic. So it is all about what you know you need. I also hate the euphimisms. I'm not fluffy, I'm fat, morbidly obese even.

Multi vitamins just don't work well for me and usually has me feeling sick on my stomache. I take various supplements. Many have to take at different times, with or without food, with or without other supplements.

I'm not sure about Vitamin K.

Did ya know that a baby doesn't produce Vitamin K until the eighth day of life. How did the Jews know to do the circumcision on that day? Or that doctors/nurses apply vitamin K to the cut site for non-Jewish males since most are circumcised within 3 days of birth?

I know I make alot of excuses for not exercising, for not eating right. Last night I went hogwild on M&M's and Skittles. Why, because they were there. So today the leftovers were tossed out. It's too much of a temptation for me.
Now I gotta work on the exercise thing.

I totally understand wanting to be joyful. It's a very peaceful, calming thing to have a joyful outlook on things. I reclaimed that a bit over the weekend.
I just have to keep reminding myself its there and never left.

I LOVE ICE COLD WATER!!!
I drink Lots and lots of it all day at work.
I have a 52 oz convenience store insulated mug that I use. I refill it once or twice while at work. I also have about 48 oz more water after dinner at night.

I think you may be right. For some reason I've para (as in around not really before). I've got some symptoms but since my endocrine system is so off, it's really hard for doctors to say what my condition is.

I also think that being abused as a very young child is part of why my endo-system is so messed up. Also being half Asian kept many things from being worse. PCOS is rare among full Asians. Then there's my father's Italian side where PCOS is very common.

I used to say I was large boned or framed but I think I'm really more medium framed.

So that's ~40 pounds I need to lose.

Now to eat lunch consisting of that Asian salad I made yesterday. Drink some tea. BRB

Just realized that there's a way of calculating which frame size on that page, too.

I'm about on the size of small to medium. So that puts me at ~40 to ~50 pounds over weight. But that's not correct either. Hopefully with weight lost, there will be muscle gain...

Oh, it gets so messed up.

I just want to fit a size 12 comfortably at the waist. I want my belly to not rest on my lap. I want to have energy and be healthy.

I'm not overweight I just need to be about 6' 5". How can such a short person have a large frame. That belies the petite designation of clothing. Short large woman section is where I need to shop even if I lose weight.

I wonder if my insurance will pay for a lapband.

I was told that Petite in women's sizes had to do with the length from neck to waist. Or is it waist to hip length? Petite had more to do with height than weight. Depending on the cut, I can fit nicely into some petite jackets.

I've just spent the last 10 minutes trying to measure my elbow.

Took me a bit to figure out what they were saying, too. I don't have a caliber but the best I can figure it, I'm at 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches across my elbow.

Mine was 3 inches if I did it correctly.

It's not helping that I've sneezed over 100 times since I've been up. Yes...I'm counting and I'm not exaggerating. I'm afraid to call my hairdresser for that trim....I'm afraid I'd end up bald.

If we'd let it slide then people would be abusing it. Sneaking cups in from days prior and refilling them...sneaking in cups from other restaurants and refilling them...one lady had the "huevos" to bring in a 42-oz cup from another McD's (not all have the 42-oz Super-Sized drinks) and ask to refill it. Boy was she mad when I had to charge her full price! ($2) Only in the summer do we carry that size drink, and only in the summer is it 89-cents.

Another thing that makes people mad is when we can't take their trash through the drive-through. We aren't allowed, it's a violation of the health code.

BTW my Ramen noodles are all soggy. That's the most unhealthy thing in this salad anyway.

They like to pull up and clean out their cars in the drive-through. I tell them I don't have a trash can and they look at me like I've plumb fell off my rocker. I DO have a trash can, but I'm not allowed to take any trash, McD's trash or not.

I think I'm going to cancel my tutoring tonight. That will give dh something more to grip at me about.
I asked him this morning for his blessing to go on this scrap retreat I've signed up for. He couldn't do it. I told him I really wanted his blessing....not the silent treatment. He still couldn't do it.
I'm trying to be more joyful. I've tried so hard this past week or two. Life just keeps getting in the way!!!

Liz...you've inspired me. I am going to take a before picture of my scraproom that was totally trashed last weekend when I had mojo. Then I'm trashing stuff.

Try not to let anyone have power over your joy.

I know it would be nice if others shared and encouraged us in the things we want to do but it's just not gonna happen, at least not all the time.

Try to give him joy regardless of how he's acting. Not by not doing what you want to do but by doing or saying something unrelated to your retreat that he have like. Giving joy is one of the best way to feel joy but not when you're compromising your own joy. I hope that made sense to anyone else beside myself.
