Hello, Suzie.. you're exactly right. Acrylic stamps will probably not last as long as rubber stamps, but if you take good care of them, it makes a big difference.

I have used mild soap to clean them. But sometimes I use stamp cleaners on them too. I find that they do stain a bit, which is fine... it doesn't hurt their performance. I have heard that some baby wipes contain alcohol, so those may not be the best for your stamps.

We're all very proud, too. He's coming tomorrow night for part of the weekend. I said remember how Nonna used to read to you? Will you read Nonna a story this weekend? He had the biggest smile on his face and said Yes!

Okay, I went back to BB, and get this . They say the port where my AC adaptor plugs in is coming undone and it needs to be soldered back on. No biggie, I think, I can leave it overnight and pick it up tomorrow. I asked how long it would take to do, and they said they're not allowed to open up laptops in the store and they would have to send it OUT...AGAIN. And this time it would be out a MONTH!!!! JUST TO SOLDER A STOOPID LITTLE THING SO THAT MY LAPPY STAYS PLUGGED IN!!!!

Less hassle to just buy a 2nd back up battery. They're cheap enough on evilbay. You have a Dell, no? Dell has an ebay store that sells refurbished laptops batteries and parts. Might be in your best lappy interests to find them. Daddy got a 2006 refurbished lappy for $189 plus shipping. Extra battery was $30, I think.

Speaking of, you should've seen Savannah's get-up for dance class. Pale pink tights, black leotard, neat bun with jeweled black velvet scrunchie and black leather boots with silver zippers and leopard trim. My sis bought the boots, they looked like night-time career-wear. Savannah wanted to wear them to school today with her khaki skort, but I managed to talk her outta that. Matt looked so...pleased...as they left for dance class. To his credit, he said not a word, but the look on his face...priceless!

We took Subway sandwiches up to Matt's school for lunch. Noah had an awesome time exploring all of the instruments in Matt's class. Matt enjoyed showing us off to his class that came in as we were leaving.
