Yes I put cotton balls at the bottom. I tried to pull them apart the best I could, then I topped with some clear tinsel for dimension.

Advent Calendar

What I thought was going to be a simple project took the last 3 weeks to make. So it will only have 4 chocolates in it this year, but I think it was worth the effort as opposed to the kiddie ones :)
