Give a Cheer
With my parents anniversary coming up I wanted to make a special card.
I took the front of a black and white Christmas card that I received last year to use as the background.
I added a strip of ribbon that I had lying around the house. To make the ribbon stand out more I used a strip of black card stock and embossed it with my Cuttlebug, then used my scissors to cut the edges to give it more of a design.
The medallion in the center was done on the computer using some clipart and wordart in Microsoft Word. I then used my Spellbinder Nestabilities scalloped circles to cut and emboss the medallion. Lastly to give it a bit of color I used some green jewel stickers that I bought at the Dollar Store.
I'm really happy with how this turned out.
