2010 National scrapbook day all day challenge "Why I scrapbook"

I normally start a page with photos but this time I started with the journaling which reads,
Why do I scrapbook? I scrapbook beacause I wish I knew so many things about my family's past, and there are some photos but no one ever connected the photos with a story. no one ever wrote the stories down, or sadly sometimes even the names, I have faces from my Grandmother's photo box and not only do i not know the person I don't even know their name.
I scrapbook because I dream. I dream that one day, some one, maybe one of my children or grandchildren will want to know...Perhaps there will be one like me that wishes they knew the stories. Wow, what a revelation I have the power to grant wishes."
I assembled a collage of ancestor pics, mounted the journaling on a tag, used stickers for the title, this is an 81/2 x11 page it will go in my book of me.
