Give a Cheer
Roger & I were sweethearts through our teen years, even though he lived in WV and I lived in Va. Once we graduated from high school, he moved to IN. and we both went on with our lives. 48 years later I found his name on Classmates.com; e-mailed him; and we wrote back and forth; and he'd call me. His sister sill lives in WV., and he and his wife were coming there for a vacation; so he and is sister came over and Paul & I got together with them for several hours. It was so good seeing him again, and learning to know his sister, whom became a very good friend to me! His wife stayed in WV because they had brought their dog and they didn't want him staying in a trailer all day with no a/c on, so Elisa decided to stay there, but she sent an afghan she'd made with Roger to give me, which was so sweet of her! Next time I'm hoping to get to meet her, too!
