POD...OCT #15/15...Moon/Branches [Full "Hunter's" Moon/22nd]

10-21-10...6:06p...The moon was so pretty tonight. The Full Hunter's Moon will be on the 22nd. [DSCF0919]

~10-23-10...This photo will serve as my full moon shot for October, it was too cloudy last night for a good photo.

Full Hunter's Moon ~ This is the month when the leaves are falling and the game is fattened. Now is the time for hunting and laying in a store of provisions for the long winter ahead. Since the fields have been reaped, hunters can ride over the stubble, and can more easily see the fox, as well as other animals, which can be caught for a thanksgiving banquet after the harvest. October's Moon is also known as the Travel Moon and the Dying Moon.
