Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes

This is the companion page to my Christmas LO this year, which may seem a bit odd being a beach scene but Christmas is in summer here!! The bathing boxes line a section of the foreshore our local beach and you have to be a rate payer in our suburb if you wish to buy one. They have no plumbing facilities & you are not allowed to stay overnight in them. They are quite highly sought after & don't come on the market very often. When one does, it usually creates a lot of interest as they sell for around $200,000...and you can't live in it! By the way....we don't have one!!!! LOL
If you are wondering where all the people are it was very early on a Sunday morning and other than a group of life savers doing their training there were only a couple of people around that time of day. Although the beach is only 20mins. walk from our house I 'm not really a 'beach person' and only go to the beach to walk the dogs when it's not too hot.
I had been trying all week to come up with a design for this photo...and then finally last night it all fell into place and I came up with the idea to cut bathing box shapes out of the pp's I was trying to work with. And just to prove us scrappers will always find a use for something....the little wooden embellies I have had for more than 10 years! I have no idea why I had bought them...I hadn't even heard of scrapping then!
