Give a Cheer
This is where most of the action happens, when I can get to it that is! The shelves are on the south wall, in the SE corner. Five shelves that go almost to the ceiling. My desk is there, I swear. It's black and is L-shaped. It can be repositioned to be straight or the bottom of the L can be swung the other way (xmas present from my mama in '10.) Next to the shelves is my paper storage rack. The east wall is an accent wall, painted a hideous yellow that the previous owners had done. In this pic it doesn't look that bad, but IRL it's a deeper, really unattractive yellow.
I tend to leave things out on my desk when it's cleaned off, and the more piled up it gets, the more overwhelmed I get and don't know how to get started fixing it. When I get envies in the mail from swaps, after admiring them I usually leave them in the envie on the desk or laying out on there. Also, when I go to my fav store, (HL!) and get some scrappy goodies, I usually quickly toss the bag in the room as soon as I get home, before my dh sees that I bought more stuff! He says I shouldn't be buying more supplies until I clean up in here and organize what I currently have, and he is 100% correct. But when I find a good deal...... /sigh.
