I'm still doing sequins too. I'm doing a few in red, white, and pink for Valentines (balls not eggs!). Then I will take out the pink and throw in some blue ones for the 4th! I saw some different type of pins at JoAnns that had a raised head or a large head, but like you, I wasn't sure how it would look. While this does look great with the colors, not sure I will try it.
