Give a Cheer
This is my husband playing the trumpet in a Christmas concert given by the community band he is in. It's a terrible photo. They were playing in a big room at a state park lodge, and my flash just wasn't adequate. I tried the textured tissue paper background and I thought it came out really cool. Reneabouquets gives a tutorial on this on the Scraps of Darkness website. I followed that and I think it turned out really good! My husband liked it because it wasn't girly and I didn't "over embellish", as if there was any such thing! I glued the sheet music paper to the Holtz fragments in the top right corner. Haven't done that before. I think they're cute. tfl!
