Journaling: On May 1, we were delighted to welcome to the family our grandson, Samuel Walker Hoenstine. Katie became a big sister and wanted to honk his nose. Marc and Karens family was complete. We visited Mrs. Hoenstine just before Mothers Day and then celebrated quietly at Marc and Karens. When we attended the Hawleys Memorial Day picnic, Sam the Man slept through the whole shindig. After torrential rains at the end of June, Katie had fun splashing in the puddles in her pink boots.
