How cool that an ancient race track is a modern day running track and how wonderful that your boys got to play on it! I love when we can reach back and actually touch parts of history. That is SO cool. Love your deep distressing techniques - it adds to the ancient historical feel. The browns and reds are great.

how exciting is that! Not sure I would want to run the whole track but I shall have to keep that in mind! I love the papers you chose. Nice touch with the little arrows! I have some in red - reminds me I love them and I should use them.

Some photos of the guys on the trip running the track at the Circus Maximus. CM is/was the largest chariot racing track during the Roman Empire.
