Yellow Tulip is framed perfectly by the rule of thirds. It is in wonderful focus, has interesting texture. Its my first choice. The second choice is the bleeding heart. It has a nicely fuzzed bg, the stem across the top adds character and the in focus bloom is almost on the rule of thirds. If it were to the right just a bit it would be right on. Besides those flowers are so unique and beautiful. The light isn't as interesting as in the pink tulips but its still solid. The pink tulips are too centered otherwise I might choose it. My newbie two cents worth.

definitely the yellow tulip! my second choice is more difficult....can't decide between the bleeding hearts and the pink tulips....think I'm leaning towards the pink tulips as I like the lighting here.....good luck!!!!

also love #1, #2. If I remember from my photos that I entered a few years ago. I did 8x10's and just a cheap frame. Can't remember if there was a list like what Kate has. That's a good list to remember for any photos. :)

Love the yellow one. Here is what they look for in my State fair, maybe it will help, 1. never center the object of the photo, 2. good lighting 3. clarity (focus and good color) 4. NO extra objects in the photo such as a distracting background, small object not part of theme etc, anything that draws the eye away from the main object. 5.Good balance Since I am sure you already know all that.....the only other thing you can do it know the judge so well you know his/her taste. Sorry not much help.
