The background is various Tim Holtz distress paints, then a layer of gesso using a cool Warp stencil that I picked up at the Scrapbook expo earlier this year. The texture turned out really cool! I really liked how some of the stamps only stamped on top of the texture. The bubbles on top are are all outlined in glossy accents but it doesn't really show in the picture. The Laboratory bottles on the bottom are all painted with various Smooch paints and then filled in completely with glossy accents to look like glass. Again, it doesn't show up too well in the pics.

When we first started doing the art journal, I remember Terri saying "I LOVE SCIENCE" which is what gave me the idea for this.
