My 25 year old son just picked up the violin and started playing. He is amazing and a natural talent. He hasn't taken a lesson yet but wants to. What he plays is by sounds and he is remarkable. He has always had the knack to play just by sound. I love your sweet pictures of your dgs and LOVE those Moxxie papers. I need to buy some of those. Cute page, good jo

Good for him - I hope he keeps with it too. Cassie only played for a year. It wasn't a good fit between her and her teacher, and I didn't know where to find another one, and he had pretty much destroyed her interest in it anyway. I was disappointed since I played for so long, but I didn't want to force her.

Music is so important in our lives and leads to wonderful experiences, learning to focus, and expanding all those wonderful brain cells. Keep him involved! On the funny side - This pic reminded me of the OLD show with family affair - you know the one Buffy, her doll Mrs. Beasley, and her brother Jody and sister Sissy, with the butler Mr. French living with their uncle Bill. The one episode I remember most is the one at the 5star Italian restaurant and the wandering violinist and of course Jody asks him to play Turkey in the Straw.
