Give a Cheer
‘Perfect Together' is a layout of my beautiful daughter and handsome son-in-law on their wedding day in Venice, Italy. I chose to use the beautiful color combination of grays and pinks. I couldn't help myself and kept adding pretty embellishments so it may seem a little busy.
The gorgeous mulberry paper flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The tiny ceramic white flowers with pink centers are from China. The chipboard words that title this LO, as well as the arched window, are from Want2Scrap. I coated them with Gesso; then painted with bright white acrylic paint. The words were touched up a bit with pink and silver pigment inks. Dressing up the window was especially enjoyable. The small gray rose is sprayed with Lindy's Glitz Spritz ‘Scintillating Silver'. The tiny butterflies are by Momenta and were originally bronze in color, but I heat embossed them in sterling silver color. The flower in the bottom right corner of the layout was white but I recolored it with Lindy's Starburst Spray, the gorgeous, jaw dropping “Gregarious Grey”. It is a rich gray with a pink shimmer and boy does it show under bright light! Lastly, the rose bouquet at the top of the page is inserted into an elongated metal bead cap that I embellished with tiny pink pearls as well as bent the prongs outward.
